It is what it is. Sometimes the best medicine is a humiliating defeat. See 49ers v Eagles, 1994.

There were multiple times KC brought the house on a blitz and it seemed like a good opportunity to throw a short pass to one of the YAC Bros for yards. If the playcall had no hot for Jimmy to get rid of the ball then that's a very specific fail on Kyle's part.

On the cover zero pick, Wilson a walk in TD. I don't think JG picked up what was going on pre or post snap whatsoever.

Makes for a fun 2 weeks on the zone.

FWIW, I said in the pregame thread that we were going to have a 2020 bills like defeat. That was pretty close.

I think they win on Sunday. Convincingly. We've got problems rams have more problems.

I think we will knew this would be a tough game and one where we would need to score a lot of points just to give ourselves any real chance of winning the game.

Kyle completely failed this time and so did the defense and special teams unfortunately.

KC put on a clinic. Up field blocking on screens and sweeps was flawless. Gotta give KC all the credit, they are a damn good team and they came to play

Yes, like it or not, KC is the future of the NFL with their Michael Jordan at qb. They commented on it during the game that their margin for victory on defense is so wise because being down 10 plus points doesn't matter to them. The team has some soul searching after that loss, but firing shanahan won't solve it. Defense needs to be able to get stops and the offense needs to have bigger plays to score more. Sounds simple, but we will see if they can figure it out. Only had McFaffrey for a couple days and we're still healing are two hopes down the road.

But Jimmy didn't fail when he missed a wide open Jeff Wilson on the Texas route? How is that Kyle's fault he didn't see him?

This needs to be talked about more.

I mentioned this earlier when a couple posters blamed Jimmy for failing to beat the blitz. Isn't that solely on kyle to adjust his calls?

One thing I posted about during game day was everyone knew McCaffrey was going to be on a pitch count. It was to be expected with only two days on the team. With that said two very basic plays that make a defense pay for constant blitzing are draws and screens. I think we waisted opportunities with a talent like him available to make them pay for bringing the heat so much in utilizing those very two plays with him.

IF you predicted we were going to have a game like this, why have you been whining and sniveling since kickoff?

Of course, he deserves blame too.

I'm not even a fan of Jimmy, but I'm not gonna put all the blame on him just because some refuse to look at the full picture.

Because I hate losing, especially when we're up 10 giving me hope
