Why is DeMeco Ryan's playing Jimmie Ward as a nickel back makes no sense why can't he just revert back to FS and let Gipson or Huf be a extra LB on package plays smh if JV is playing can't he play the slot position

I don't understand this either. He got beat for that TD in the endzone, imo, mainly because he was asked to play press man coverage with one hand.

But if the Rams can fix that swiss cheese of an OL with what they have to work with, and the 49ers can't fix their OL with what they have to work with, I am going to be quite upset. Because the 49ers' DL should feast on the Rams' OL, while the Rams' DL should only snack on the 49ers' OL.

I'd feel a helluva lot better if they signed Darquese Dennard than activating Dontae Johnson. Hopefully Verrett picks up where he left off in 2020.

I was told that Jimmie Wards strength is his versatility. So he's versatile but he can only play FS and man against some tight ends. Don't put him against wide receivers or have him play zone. Man this guy is the most overrated player ever.
