It goes both ways.
It doesn't go both ways. Kansas City didn't punt once. 30+ yards on 3rd and 20 and a TD on 3rd and 11. The defense was Jim O'Niell bad. You don't have a leg to stand on this week.

This isn't a subjective argument. Jimmy was not the reason this team lost against KC. The defense missed the flight back from Carolina.

I grant you that the defense was awful this week. And I wouldn't frame this week as mainly Jimmy's fault by any means. That's not what I'm saying.

I'm saying it's wrong to say Jimmy had a good week and then condemn someone else for saying Jimmy was our biggest issue. Because he didn't have a good game and he wasn't our biggest issue.

Can I ask you a question? Did you say Jimmy was our biggest issue vs Denver? Because I thought he was. But I've never said Jimmy's our only issue. We wouldn't be 3-3 if he was.

Well we've beat them 7 times in a row in the regular season so.....

If we don't beat them again, our season might become a poopie. They set us up on our run last year, and might destroy it this year.

Even if we lose Sunday our schedule sets up favorably for the remainder of the year. We will play 6 of the remaining 9 games at home and none of those opponents should overwhelm us.

Are we a good team or what? I'm tired about hearing how good we are then lay a stinky against ATL and then KC. I remember the day after Lance went down and Jimmy was named starter, all the media outlets were like "The Niners are a better team with Jimmy. The rest of the NFL is scared Jimmy is back at the helm." This isn't meant to turn into a Jimmy post, but no one is scared of us lol. We lost our luster it seems. We need to get it back somehow

Time will tell but I'm not throwing the towel in on this season yet….Even if we lose this Sunday. I know this doesn't need to be mentioned because it's a new season but we did start 3-5 last year and ended up a play away from another super bowl appearance.
That said I think we get back on track this week with a W.

you remember our record from last year after 8 games? 3-5
Their offer for Christian was more than ours just a smidge 😂
We're not losing from here out. Mark it. Keep the receipts, please!

Nobody seems to get a good read on what to make of our team. But that is forgetting the # of players we have playing injured. Game before this one, we have 7 D starters out. 4 of those came back for KC but there were several that shouldn't have been back so soon. And same goes for both OTs…both injured and came back too soon. This is what i think makes this team so hard to figure. The injuries just screw up everything and makes it virtually impossible to know what kind of team we have. If..or when we get healthy, then I think we learn what kind of team we have.
I love how Frank Clark gots an immediate 2 game suspension after the game instead of before.

Yea but do we really need to do this to ourselves? Why are we so disappointing during the beginning of the season? I wish for once Shanahan would have this team ready and be dominant the entire season

If we don't win this game the season is over.
