SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at LOS ANGELES RAMS - 2022 Game 8

Seahawks so freaking lucky. Stupid ass Richie james
Best part of this game? Kyle made second half adjustments
Dang, I took a nap at the start of the 3rd and woke up an hour later and am shocked beyond belief. Defense realized they do have a set on em. Then again, maybe we just do have the Lamb's regular season number :).

FTR, I predicted a 34-17 loss. Other way around babieee.

YES!!!!! And wait till Deebo gets back

So we can continue force feeding it to him?

after the first half, yea

props to cmc also. he's great and made several special plays to put us over the top. I have no problem with him, he is a special player. But it's jimmy and shanny that need fixing. Maybe he can inspire them.

Shanny is not the QB, the big difference was jimmy actually played the position

It shouldn't be just one guy getting fed, You spread the ball around like today you win games

Eh, we are what we are.

Good news is that this is the travel schedule going forward:

W9 - BYE
W10 - Chargers
W11 - @ Cardinals (Mexico)
W12 - Saints
W13 - Dolphins
W14 - Buccaneers
W15 - @ Seahawks
W16 - Commanders
W17 - @ Raiders
W18 - Cardinals

So, aside from the neutral site Mexico game, that's no games outside the Pacific time zone, and 6 home games.

This is about as favorable a second half schedule as one could ask for.

Also looks like only one game on nongrass surface.

You've bought 2 more weeks Mr Shanahan

In all seriousness, Jimmy played great, defense finally got some stops, and shanahans 2nd half offense cMe alive.

props to jimmy. zero zero. Some reasonable execution. hope it's the start of something better

Would be amazing.

jimmy's a good qb. if he was in a normal passing offense, he would be doing a lot better. unfortunately he's stuck in a game plan that views passing as a complimentary phase of the game and dials up absolutely no winners. we need a passing game consultant SO FREAKIN BAD. Shanny has to get used to the idea that it's OK to manage the game through the air.

Disagree. This scheme is tailor made for him. About the only scheme he is better suited to is the Patriots scheme, which is ALSO very run heavy (this year even fewer passes by percentage than us).

Jimmy is a reaction passer, not a reader. Get the ball out quickly. But you can't do that consistently without either a run game threat or a deep game threat—because a defense will shut it down. And that is why we run.

Defenses have been getting smaller and faster on the back end, especially linebackers. The reason? To stop the quick spread game. If you rely entirely on that, you're toast. The teams who succeed at it do so because they have transcendent QBs who can both kill you deep AND buy time with their legs. QBs who cannot do that will not have success trying to do this spread quick game. Not without either a run/PA threat or a deep game.

Crazy thing is he tripped 3 times by my count. He could've been even better

Lambs will need to spend some time in LA and reforge ties with the community to rebuild their LA fanbase. It will take a few years,

BTW: The Chargers who play in SoFi too have no problems selling out regularly.
Let's go Tardinals. I'll see you fellas next week

Yes. I know. I have been hollering about it for weeks.

The fact that Deebo was out forced Jimmy to look at other options. Case in point: The long completion to our backup TE. That was the game changer right there.
