Yes, bad move by the 49ers in keeping Armstead. He is collecting paychecks, and lately Fred Warner, except a good game here or there, is getting into that category as well. Maybe that's his max potential, who knows.
A part of trading Buckner though was being able to extend Kittle after that move I believe.
This. It hurt A LOT to lose Buckner, and it's unfortunate that Kinlaw has lost a lot of development time due to injuries and hasn't seen the field.
But trading Buckner meant that we re-sign Armstead, we draft Kinlaw... and we also have the cap flexibility to extend Kittle.... AND Jimmy Ward, who extended that offseason as well.
Hopefully Armstead and Kinlaw come back strong as our DT1 and DT2 in the last half of the season & playoffs.
I would love to continue to discuss this but it would seem pointless instead of celebrating q great win so go ahead but fuxq la. Great win today. Blanked in the 2nd half. Hell yeah

I think people would see it differently if they had ended up with Derrick Brown instead of Kinlaw. Brown has been a beast in the middle. Kinlaw seems like he'll always have knee issues plaguing him.
Yeah, but he was drafted higher than our pick. Don't think we would've moved up for a DT

Brown most likely would've been the pick if he was on the board as he was the highest rated DT that year. It was clear Lynch was looking at DT after trading Buckner

Nice to see all the childish trolls disappear from here.
I'm gonna enjoy this win! Lot of players showed up today, hopefully we can keep the momentum going.
Trade deadline approaching, I expect the Rams to do something……
Love this game! Love these Niners!

I talked s**t all week about shanny because of how undisciplined and awful our offense has looked but today (in the 2nd half anyways) it looked great. Happy to be wrong!

This win was huge.
49ers get back to .500 and stay undefeated in the division with a bye week coming up.
This felt like a swing game where the season could have gone downhill fast with a loss.
Amazing second half.

Wonder if they are going to try to trade to get better this year, or trade to get picks to be better in the future...

Hopefully they'll trade all of their picks for a RB or WR. I would love to see them overpay for a player that won't help them this year.
How many of the fake ass Niner fans pissed we won today

Yeah, if Jimmy stepped into that throw instead of throwing off his back foot...

Rams never look into the future especially when they really think about repeating lol. Here comes a Kareem Hunt trade or some bs like that or maybe a crazy overpayment for Chubb where Denver can't refuse
