Honestly it's been a few weeks since that happened. The first half of the CAR game, before Eman's injury.

Same, but game 2 for me
Watching salehs defense, and watching McDaniels offense makes me really want to punch Shanahan in the face.

I guess I agree. Because we all know now (and most of us knew then) Jimmy isn't good enough to bring it all the way home.

Only 3 pages? Not much excitement for today's game?

Doesn't surprise me with the ass whoopin we took last week and the 6 days of the "sky is fallen" routine that followed.

Last week really sucked! Debo out after only 6 touches last week. Juice gets injured on one of the positive plays we had last week.
Hopefully we'll have something to be excited about. Maybe Aiyuk will show why he should be the #1 option and Kittles will be back to his old form.

I just wanna see the team play well today, Niner Bro's...
Yikes, no Deebo, no Juice, no Armstead, no Greenlaw. Rams are also dinged up on offense but their defense is healthy.

I hate to say it and I hope I'm wrong but...

Rams 34
49ers 17

Season is basically over at this point, so what is there to be excited about. The season actually ended when Lance went down, but people didn't want to acknowledge it then.

It's a season that is 95% likely to end in a Chiefs/Bills/Eagles championship. When halfway into the season the general vibe across the league is that we're all just playing out the expected script it'll lower interest. Imagine being a Falcons fan in 1994 knowing all year that the SB would be won by 49ers/Cowboys.

I'm hoping for CMC to be the guy they can't stop and opens it up for everyone else. Lets just see if Shanny can make that happen.

Truth. A season of running in place unless several long odds things tumbled into place. It could still happen, but those odds are even longer at this point.

Shanahan pushing his guys to win the NFC West is the real goal right now. Need to get into the playoffs. That's the least long odds of all the long odds right now, and is doable even with Garoppolo, though he has to play more like the 2019 Garoppolo more consistently. After that, the real long odds begin.

Welp, today, we either fight for that inch or we get it shoved up our ass.

Should be a telling day.

Go Niners!

Honestly, if just from a PR standpoint, possibly Shanahan's most important game yet as HC.
