SF 49ers vs Chargers Pregame Thread - 2022 Season Week 10

Let's go 49ers!

This season has been a roller coaster. Each time I think an outcome will occur, something unexpected happens. So I guess I'm concerned about early mistakes, getting down early and forcing us to abandon the run.

Yeah, it's been definitely a toss up against other teams. Teams we should be winning against, we lose to. Hoping they get their s#!t together and win out the rest of the schedule.

I was wearing my Niners hat the other day in a store in Oregon. A guy that worked there asked me if I thought they could beat the Eagles. I said they have to get that far first, but yes they can beat the Eagles. Every team can beat every other team in this league. It all comes down to which team is the healthiest and is playing the best at the end of the year. It's really hard to stay at a high level all year. The 49ers haven't really played at that high level yet so let's hope they build toward it and reach it in the playoffs.

This season will be classified before CMC and after CMC.

Maiocco on KNBR is talking about the remaining schedule and how it sets up for the Niners. 9 games remaining. 6 are home games. One is a neutral site in Mexico City. The remaining 2 road games are in Vegas and Seattle. The Raiders aren't playing well and the fan base in Vegas is not like it was in Oakland. That leaves seattle as the only remaining road game that looks like a big challenge.

Possibly but Seattle plays TB and KC, both on the road. They could easily lose one or both of those. They also have to play an improving Jets team and the Rams twice. Rams aren't playing well now but you never know if they'll get right and start playing better. Health issue just like the Niners had.

Key I look for is holding them to FGs and scoring TDs ourselves. Our O is too talented for field goals.
