Chiefs, Bills, Cowboys, Eagles, Vikings will exploit the 49ers secondary EASILY! It is key that the 49ers score at least 27+ points per game to make any kind of noise in the playoffs.

Rams haven't been able to and they have one of the best WRs in the league. It's all about the big dogs up front. We need to make sure they stay healthy or get healthy when it really matters.

I don't think anyone was actually relying on JV to be an all-pro this year. The young guys are going to have step up. Trial by fire for the rest of the year and hopefully can get wins in the process.

The defensive line in the 4th quarter is usually winded. Let's see.

Verret would have been great cause it wouldve been 2 #1 level CB on the field but i do like our secondary now .We are just very thin now

And of all those teams only the Eagles have 2 solid starters side to side and even Bradbury isn't the same he was. Not one team has 2 top tier starters, every one of those teams have a weakness and can be exploited in a way, not 1 team is perfect. Whoever is healthiest and executes will win. Losing JV sucks but let's not act we depended on him as well as the staff, it's the Moseley injury that truly hurts. Young guys are going to need to step up regardless
Mitchell practicing?
CMC adds so much to the attack, he makes everyone better. I believe we have enough in the secondary to hold our own and then some. As far as the Chargers game, we can't play from behind and allow a team to hang around. If Mitchell is healthy, split time with CMC and keep them both ready for the playoff run and beyond. Go Niners!

It will be a RB battle the likes of which the league has seen only on rare occasions once every generation CMC vs Eck maybe the two best in the game right now
Verrett's spirit will still be here for his revenge game.

Ebukam is the big surprise here. I think if he's missed 2 full practices he's not playing.

AA/Ebukam likely both out.

Will be nice of Al-Shaair and Greenlaw can play though.

So 3 starters out AGAIN on the D line. Great.

Just signed Suh already and get it over with! Since there's no corners out there we need pressure on the interior

Verrett injury is literally the least significant this year. Even if he were able to lace his shoes without breaking something, chances of him playing anywhere near his Pro Bowl level were damn near nonexistent. I feel about the same as I did that one Christmas when Santa didn't bring me the Ferrari I asked for. Really would have been swell, but odds were never in my favor.

Do we have $ for Suh? If so, I'm on board.
One of the best CBs in the league above the knees, when he was going he always made a play on the ball. Smart effective player, really bummed.
