SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs LOS ANGELES CHARGERS - 2022 Game 9

I want to rip Kyle for our offense but his brand of football is quite effective in the playoffs. It travels and can win in cold weather. We beat up on worn out teams late in the season and most of our playoff wins have been with minimized risk of losing. Also easy to underestimate how hard it is in the nfl to knock off a team like the chargers that has a stud Qb and a game wrecker on defense. We are going to be deep in the playoffs this year and our fate will be decided like usual by a bad pass that gets intercepted or the interception is dropped. As an nfl fan you should be happy to have those odds. Remember when that wasn't the case. Lots of those years!

Good post. You are correct in postseason a lot more attrition from a long season and ppl don't want to absorb all our run blocking. Ppl don't want to tackle CMC, Deebo, BA, Kittle either. As long as JG keeps it clean and limits sacks, turnovers. And we need the pass rush (Bosa) to stay healthy.
From the consecutive regular season losses vs. the bolts, to the recent history of post bye clunkers, to the "so many weapons" hype… none of it gave me a good vibe this week. Which makes this one feel sweet as any. It was as ugly as it was excruciating, but it's a big ass W.

We are undefeated in the NFC West and we have a chance to split vs AFC West if we beat the Raiders
We are never going to have an explosive offense with Jimmy as our QB. It's just not going to happen. He will make good plays and throws here and there but he will never do it enough for this offense to be considered explosive. People want to blame Kyle for the play-calling and yes he makes mistakes but he will forever be limited with Jimmy. It's just something we have to accept. Atleast for the remainder of this season.
Just watch a replay of Huf int, wtf was Lenoir doing? Letting the WR get pass him in that situation.

Huh? It looks like a cover 2 zone where he carries wr a bit then passes off wr to S because he has flat responsibility too. Looked like he played it well?

Felt like a Walsh 49er game!
Just got back from the game. Ugly win. The officiating was horrid. Missed multiple personal foul/facemasks on the 49ers. The RT on the Chargers should've been called for false start 3-4 times in the 1st half alone.

A win is a win, though, and no injuries.

I'll drink to that!

This team makes it's money with explosive runs. The run game wins tough games. Buffalo doesn't have a run game and see what happened to them. They can't win the tough grind-out games.

This. The refs spotted them points and took away points. We dominated them

Who scares anyone right now? The chiefs? Every team is kind of middle of the pack. Also that means jack s**t once the playoffs starts. That's the beauty of football (and sports)

Not middle of the pack. We can play with anyone, whoever gets hot in the end takes it.
