SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs LOS ANGELES CHARGERS - 2022 Game 9

I'm sorry I disagree with that. The Chargers were dropping like flies during the game and were already dead from injuries prior to the game. They are not better than average in their current state and again they were dropping like flies in the game and we still could only muster plus 3 till the end.

The chargers forum is filled with "we did damn good considering we had practice squad players all over the field"

That's why they are super bowless losers

Just like last year it depends on Jimmy. If he gets hot in the second half of the season (like last year), and gets hot in the playoffs (like he definitely did NOT do last year, but like ELI did twice), this is a Super Bowl contender.

But if we can't take care of business in México, then f*geddaboutit.

He wasnt the same after he got injured last year i forgot which game it was and it got worse in cowboys game where he hurt his thumb on his throwing hand

Also yes i think Jimmy is a good to great QB but he does have his limitations we have to be more aggressive than we were last game imo too many runs yesterday. I get why that was the game plan going in but i hope that was a chargers specific game plan because thats where they are the weakest. We did not put the offense and Jimmy in a position to succeed yesterday with that many 3rd and long situations

All depends on what you mean by "good to great" He's somewhere between 12 and 16 +/- 1 or so.

But he started sucking last year BEFORE he injured his thumb. The first pick and the miss to Kyle were before that. He then hurt his shoulder against the Cowgirls. It wasn't merely inaccuracy that hurt us last year. It was bad reads too. So whatever changed, he'll need to avoid that this year if we want to have a chance.

Like we weren't missing several starters too, and their backups.
Great win. It helped that overrated Herbert stunk it up outside the first drive.
0 points in the 2nd half for this supposed "top 5" QB is pathetic no matter who he has as WRs/Oline. More and more it looks like noodlearm Tua is actually a better QB.

If Herbert missed playoffs for 3rd straight year, he has to be talked about as a bust (Just cause you can bomb 60 yards with your arm doesn't mean your elite and a winner). Goal is not to throw it 60 times a game and get stats, its to win football games and this kid just doesn't do it enough to warrant the high praise he continuously gets.

Yup.
3 out of 4 DL
1 cb
1 LB ejected

They were the more injured team to great players so for ONCE we played a more injured team

May be worth reminding that several of our starters are only just returning from injury, and that our qb is our 2nd stringer. And, as you say, that the D line is decimated.

The Rams have been really feeling it as of late. Everyone deals with injuries,....better off just focusing on the guys that are available, IMO.

Lol wut ? If his garbage receivers hadn't dropped 2-3 big passes this game could've had a different result. We shouldn't be ones to s**t on other quarterbacks given the garbage we field each and every week. I would take Herbert in a heartbeat and this team would become an offensive juggernaut.

5000 percent. In the past couple of years, when the Chargers were televised locally, I would watch the Chargers just to see Herbert. He's friggin awesome. The 9ers can only dream of such a QB and we sure hope that is Trey in two years.

That's not true. We'd win 5 SB's in a row if we had Herbert. That dude is really good. Stafford was a consistent loser but everyone saw how good he really was. It was the team and coaching that set him back
