Who holds this offense back more?

Jimmy pulling ahead with 52%.

Is this grounds for a run-off?
It's called getting inside the 10 five times in the last game, for example, but in EZ only twice. Now if they get in 4/5 times then guess what, there's your 30+ points and nobody's going "what the f**k is wrong with this offense?" That sounds too basic or simple but it really is.

That was a joke
Btw, did you catch McG allowing 0 sacks vs Khalil Mack?

How many coaches have a winning playoff record with a QB that throws more interceptions than touchdowns and averages 137 YPG?

There's coaches that have a top 5 QB in the NFL and they can't even get past the first round in the playoffs. There's no real formula, its all team when you're in the playoffs.

Team and coaching, sure. You can't convince me for a second that Jimmy is winning those games despite Kyle's coaching, when he boasts numbers that smell that bad. And saying that they are winning as a TEAM is as great a compliment you could give Shanny.

So this is about Jimmy then. Its plain and simple in the 49ers case, Kyle is not getting to the Super Bowl in 2019 without Jimmy and he's also not getting to the NFCC in 2021 without Jimmy too. And Jimmy is not getting to both of those games without Kyle. So not sure what the beef is with either side.

I don't know where you get that. Seems like it would be pretty easy to find a QB that averages 137/game and throws more ints than TDS…

You would think that right but so far in Shanahan's coaching career, he's only been to the playoffs with two QBs. I might be wrong maybe even Matt Schaub. But I could see your point if Shanahan went to the playoffs and Super Bowl with Beathard and Mullens or even Brian Hoyer.

RGiii rookie year. Matt Schaub playoffs were after Shanny left. I believe RGIII rookie year ironically.

Of course. And I give him huge props for that, he contributed to a great team win. I don't really do backflips over a guy actually doing his job, though. Hopefully he can keep it up!

Sorry, thought it was about KS as a head coach. On this team.

Peeople here are crazy so over emotional i feel like rational has left the building

i swear i think people watch highlights of other teams then just watch the whole game for us. We are top 5-6 in 3rd down conversion %, one of the most yards/drive, yards/play, TOP %

by most metrics we are a top 5 offense right now and we are complaining?

the one thing we have to fix is red zone TD% which we are in the middle of the league which i think will get better with the addition of CMC

Top 5 offense ?

Yeah..a top 5 offense and we are 7-2 at worst.

Any HC would say that execution at the end of the day is on him. The product on the field is on him. Particularly when it's year 6 and he buys his own groceries.
I think it's a good product!

But we do lack a FQB. I don't blame JG for that.

Any real leader is going to take full responsibilty for his team.
