It's a very common play in the NFL. So we shouldn't run it cause Jimmy tried to YOLO it once? s**t Aiyuk fumbled trying to get YAC guess he shouldn't do that anymore. Crazy how you want to give Jimmy and Aiyuk credit if the play was complete but now the blame is on Kyle for s**t calls. You should not be taken seriously by anyone on here.

Is he saying Staley was the rams DC last year?

He's saying he's boarded the "blame Kyle for everything bus" riding shotgun with Jose and 9moon driving.

Nah, just the do-better mantra. Same as the do-better for Jimmy, McGlinchey, Ward, etc. Same standards.

Lots of issues with Kyle the HC this year and his play calling has also dropped off in a year we can't blame it all on the backup QB.

Did you really think Staley was the rams DC last year?

Same defensive scheme.

So yes you did lol
LMAO.

Poll right now:
Jimmy G: 53%
Kyle Shanahan: 48%

Even our polls are a little off this year.

I am sure that is just a rounding issue.

Completely agree with Steve Young.

"It goes back to the conversation we've had [about the trust in Jimmy Garoppolo]," Young said on the Tolbert & Copes show. "... because I can guarantee you that Kyle would love to throw for 500 yards a game. He's like his dad, I'm telling you. ... It's really just how they manage each other and how they create the space for each other. The management is full-speed ahead. They're managing each other, and that's how it is, and that's fruitful, and it's fine.

"The idea, philosophically, that Kyle wants to run the ball is not true, and people need to leave that behind," Young added.

This offense is the way it is because of Jimmy. Look at all the same or similar offenses run elsewhere and the difference is QB. Rodgers, Tua, etc.

Jimmy isn't a consistent downfield passer. We seldom see him dropping dimes regularly deep down the sideline. Shoot, I can't even remember the last time I've seen a fade pass in the red zone either. There's simply things that Kyle doesn't call because Jimmy doesn't excel at them. I think he had his chances earlier in his time here, and Kyle got tired of him screwing it up, so this is why you see what you see now (at least in my opinion).

Kyle should fire whoever is picking his QBs in this case.. get one he can trust!

Not sure how this hasn't been obvious for years.

What did Jimmy screw up?

He came in and killed it with a team that was heading towards the #1 overall pick for the 2nd consecutive year in 2017. That team had lost 24 of its last 26 games. He went 5-0. Averaged 8.8 yards per pass attempt. The team averaged 28.8 points per game in his 5 starts. In a stripped down version of Kyle's offense. That last part might be a hint.

Blows out his ACL week 3 of 2018.

Returns in 2019, team scores 479 points/30 points per game (2nd in the NFL), Jimmy finishes 3rd in yards per pass attempt, 8th in passer rating. Team would've won the SB if not for the refs blatantly rigging it for the "Face of the NFL."

Comes back in 2020, injures his ankle week 2, struggles with an injury he should not have been playing with...and now the team's trading 3 first round picks despite not even knowing what QB they're going to pick at #3.

And remember, the receivers Kyle chose were Pierre Garcon, Dante Pettis, Trent Taylor, Deebo Samuel, Jalen Hurd, and Brandon Aiyuk. Does that sound like a guy who wants to regularly throw "deep down the sideline" to you?

All of those guys were picked in 2019 in prior. At no point when he got any of those guys had he had Jimmy for more than 8 starts.

AKA Jimmy is not elite and is limited AF and not a probowl QB, that's why no one wanted to trade for him and he came back and became Trey's backup.

So who's holding who back again?... give me a break 🤣

Go rewatch the end of his SB choke and end of the NFCC last season and every bonehead play and turnover Jimmy ever made and you will understand what Steve meant by "screwing it up" 🤣

AKA f**k this over paid mother f**ker we dumping him and moving on 🤣

But he still shamefully came back for more money to be the backup, okay, get in where you fit in.

Crap Trey got hurt and we are stuck with him AGAIN!!!!
We'll just have to make the best out of it and if it fails again, we'll make him the scapegoat again, he's still getting paid good money so he can't complain, he better play hard for his own pocket and for his own future in the NFL regardless 🤣 it is what it is.

The NFL is cutthroat NO DOUBT 🤣
