Who holds this offense back more?

What would Andy Reid be without Mahomes right now? Would Bill Belichick be the greatest coach of all time if he had taken Tim Rattay over Tom Brady? Would the West Coast offense exist in any form if the 49ers pass on Joe Montana? We all wish Shanahan would be more aggressive. But is almost always comes down to the QB.

i wouldnt even call it a bad game

we had a gameplan going in to take advantage where the chargers are the weakest which is their run game and to their credit they defended the run well. We made adjustments went more uptempo in 2nd half. We did move the ball well for most of the game and controlled the ball for most of the game just look at TOP

as for offense overall we are currently the 6th ranked offense in NFL in yards/play for the entire season want to bet that that gets better? Especially considering this stat includes the Bears and Broncos games which were both huge duds (for different reasons)

Why can't we have a both option?
mcglinchey should get roasted more

Ya that would likely have been a TD he souldve got touched at the 1 to half yard line and CMC couldve dont that push thing he does to go over the goalline

Agreed it's McG. I'd try Colton. Runs to the right don't exist, and he's dominated on every obvious passing down.

Jimmy has plenty of limitations in the passing game but Kyle is solely responsibility for the running game which is not effective enough for all the resources and focus this team has put into it. The epitomy of this was our inability at the goal line late in the 4th qtr.

I saw his PFF ranking under his intro graphic. I think it said 14 and I just started laughing. Partially cause PFF is a joke. Partially that tackle play is so bad in the NFL that McGlinchey can be in the top 30

i dont think thats the case we were very aggressive against the rams 2 weeks ago.

Its about attacking what your opponents are the weakest at. The rams are weak at the middle of the field which is why we attack the LB and have those quick releases. The chargers are the weakest at run D so we ran it a lot.

The cardinals next week are very weak at the LB position and their secondary opposite of Murphey.

I think McG is a goner anyway, so trying to find his replacement is wise. Is it McKivitz though?

Elijah Mitchell had a huge gapping hole on the play he slipped on.

Fair but anecdotal and was one play.

All scoring plays are 1 play. When your offense has a dropped TD and lost footing on a perfectly blocked play it hurts the score but we still got the W

He has always been considered a really good run blocker and a not great pass blocker. So when you average those two scores that is how you get that 14th ranking.
