This time Shanahan learned his lesson. With the Cards stacking the box to stop the run, he took the dare and let Jimmy make plays in the passing game to convert 3rd downs and keep drives alive.

this is not a new offense ive said this a few times but Shannahan is a great coach he attacks where the opponents is weakest

last weak against the chargers the chargers are one of the worst run defense team so we ran on them. The cardinals are weak in pass rush and secondary so we attacked through the air

before the cardinals game i mentioned somewhere i think in the Shannahan thread that this would happen we would attack the cardinals more through the air

This was the game that many of us have been waiting for. No worries about a last minute comeback from the other team. Plenty of big exciting plays. A solid defensive performance. TDs instead of FGs. I know it was against the Cards but in the NFL any team is capable of causing problems as we've seen a couple times this season.

Let's hope this is the start of a SB run.

Technically that would make the Rams game the start of our SB run

people i feel dont watch rest of NFL it isnt easy to blow a team out

i mean the chiefs only have a +4 point differential compared to us (+67 vs +63) and they are the consensus (rightfully so) #1 NFL team now

I thought Greenlaw had some issue with his wrist. I guess it was minor.

he hurt it while trying to punch the ball out most likely a stinger or a jam so nothing serious

PLAY OF THE GAME:
Worked just like Kyle drew it up: fake QB hand off left, running back right , QB draw up the middle for 9 yards 🤣🤣🤣

Other teams will be stealing the play by next week. Haha

One other positive, the niners D did this without 3 starters on the d line.

Any idea on when kinlaw, armstead, or ebakum will be back?

Ebakum sounds like he was a possibility this week. Armstead should be soon (1-2 weeks), as he has a tricky injury. Kinlaw, I'm not sure. Sounded like the niners were real close to picking up Suh

Suh got lured by the Eagles record vs the 49er record. How ironic would it be for him to exit the playoffs or NFC Championship game compliments of the SF 49ers 😆

You're right but I don't think any 49er fan thinks this team has played to it's potential all year. Good defense has often been paired with dull offense. I've said before that I watch games to see who wins and to be entertained. The big plays last night were entertaining. We just haven't had many of those this season. Too many times this team has failed to score a TD in the red zone and the games have been closer than they should have been.
