SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs ARIZONA CARDINALS - 2022 Game 10

I hope the atmosphere came across on TV. That was an incredible thing to be a part of. Unforgettable.

this game felt similar as our last few games, with the exception of three chunk plays that went for td's -- kittle catch, kittle run, deebo run. if those chunk plays turn into field goals, and we make 2/3, final score is 23-10. That's us. I didn't feel like we consistently blew away ariz, drive after drive. play after play. We were successful but not first two down successful. jimmy dug us out of third down holes, and we schemed power runners into the defensive backfield. The game worked because we put our bulls into a fraidy cat weak tackling secondary who wanted no part of kittle or deebs. smart. successful. but, I can see why jimmy says we left food on the table. we need to be more consistent in setting up second and reasonable, and moving chains on 1st second down and 3rd and short (<3). But really good to see we are getting better mairing out the ball into places other than between the hash.

Which is why Shanahan made the comments about the Chargers game that we could've scored more. In that game, there were some plays that we didn't quite execute well and we missed out on some points. Had the Aiyuk fumble, dropped TD, and missed XP alone been better results, we would've won that game 27-13. In this game, we executed better (and the Cardinals missed some tackles) and we blew out the Cardinals.

There's definitely a lot of room for improvement, but I think we're starting to land explosives like those Kittle & Deebo catch & runs. To me, there are three areas that I'm looking at:

1.) "Move the Ball" situations --- I think since CMC has gotten here, that's where we've had the immediate improvement. And we're having improvement in 3rd down conversions.
2.) Explosive plays --- Explosive plays of 20 yards or more are important. It's hard to get 10+ play, 80 yard drives..
3.) Red-Zone TD %--- This is the one that I think we really need to get better, and I think we will. Against the Cardinals, we were 2/2.

Based on the game, he wasn't the only one of their coaches to not coach last night.

They might give him 1 more year because they just signed him to a big contract. I do think there is a strong likelihood he is fired after this year though
I don't know if this was already mentioned in this thread, but were they wearing different helmets for this game? Look power rangerish… Rest In Peace green ranger
