One of the beat guys (Maiocco I think) tweeted that practices will be at the Air Force Academy.

Is this due to the altitude in Mexico?

719ers empire Facebook page says it's closed to the public via Nick Clarke 49 HQ.
I'm guessing they're going to stay at a hotel off Interquest. Maybe catch one of em at the ViewHouse or the Summit after practice lol idk.

I dont know but Mexico City is way higher than Denver. There's definitely going to need to be some preparation.

I'd assume that the Cards will hold some practices in Flagstaff but I haven't heard anything about it.

I am guessing that Flagstaff is high altitude as well? East coaster here.

Nearly as high as Mexico City. Cards used to hold training camp at the NAU campus on Flagstaff so it'd be an easy move for them.

My high school (Middle Park High School was about 8000 ft). We played the wealthy Christian schools in Denver and we're so much better at home than the road - huge equalizer. It's no joke. I'm glad their doing a staging process with CO.

How dangerous is Mexico ? Why doesn't the team just fly there and practice for the week? Wouldn't that be better for acclimating?
