We have major problems against mobile quarterbacks. I'd be nervous facing them as well. I hope some other team can knock them out for us…

Ideal would be Dallas…facing a division for 3x in the same season and sweeping all 3 is tough (e.g. Niners last year vs Rams)

Please. Not scared in the least of Detroit. Impressive turnaround they're attempting, but the only playoff hopefuls they could compete with are Minnesota, NYG, Washington, Seattle. 2nd tier.

Detroit is not scary at all. Especially if they had to come to SF.

If we're lucky we play Minn in the Divisional and TB in the NFCC if they knock out Philly for us. That's the easiest path to the SB…

I agree that their overall team and record are overhyped, but their D is legit.

I only say this because 1. Eagles have the Best offensive line in the NFL, 2. We usually do poorly against Mobile Qbs, 3. Combine that with us being last in the NFL on short yardage downs up the middle. It could be a long day for our defense since the eagles go for it alot on 4rd and short.

Now that being said I would still be taking a 35-21 49ers game

well because I feel like they're the same vikings just that this year the some balls are going their way. Most of their wins are within 1 possession, they even did a stat thing that if all their 1 possessions game went the other way they'll be out of the playoffs. The Buffalo game they should've loss, and most of their wins are usually come from behind. They played the Eagles on prime time and got throttled. so going with what you said their only win is against Miami which is on a 2 game losing streak when the play real teams and could be out of the playoffs since they have hard games coming up. Its not how you start its how you finish, the 49ers started like 3-4 or 3-5 and the Vikings started 7-1? or 8-1? and we're just one game behind them for the 2nd seed. Thats just some of the stuff to why I see it that way.
