lions over the niners?
Among their last 3 games, Vikings have to go on the road outdoors in cold weather against both of their division rivals:

Jan 1 @ GB Packers (Vikings won 23-7 week 1 in Minn)

Jan 7/8 (TBD) @ CHI Bears (Vikings narrowly beat Bears 29-22 week 5 in Minn)

For an indoors dome team that's been known to have recent late season/playoff collapses, there's a good chance they drop one or both of these games (especially against division rivals who know them, and have home field this time around…) lol also if one of those games is played in near evening or flexed to a night game since the Vikings suck in such games

The Vikes' next opponents, the Giants, as we just saw, went on the road to stifle their division foes the Commanders and won easily after both teams tied a few weeks back in NY. Giants will be riding high and looking to keep their D performance going, especially against a Vikings team that looked vulnerable against the Colts and needed a historic comeback (or rather, collapse by the other team) just to win…even if it's in Minnesota, I like the Gmen to upset

#2 seed is still in play, so long as the Niners keep winning out.

I can see a motivated Giants team taking down the Vikings

I don't think the Vikings have played a complete game back to back all season.

In my opinion we should be rooting for the Vikings to win

If Vikings lose we play Dallas and then Phili (assuming Philli beats the Giants which is a very fair assumption). Which is a much tougher road than playing the Vikings and then the winner of Dal/Phili

ya im not sure i really agree i mean anything can happen in 1 game but this conference is a 3 way race between us eagles and cowboys. I can see a scenario where all 3 teams represent the conference

The Eagles are the one team that arguably has a better OL/DL than us. They will be a tough opponent.
The 4th seed is interesting TB is 1 game ahead of the rest of the division. They own the tiebreaker against the saints so they are unlikely to get the division but the panthers beat them the first time so if panthers beat the bucs 2 weeks from now Panthers would own the tiebreaker and may take the division

It will be the first time in the history of the NFL a Wild Card team is awarded a bye week.

What??

Where In the world does this happen?

If Vikings lose we likely would get the second seed if we win out. We would play either lions xommanders or Giants.

Dallas is basically locked in playing the bucs. Philly gets a bye week. We likely won't see Dallas until the nfc championship game. If they beat the bucs they go to Philly in divisional round.

What are you smoking

Ohhhh my bad
I want the Giants first round. Time for a little payback dating back to the Harbaugh years 😡 Kyle Williams smh….
gotta root for the Giants to beat the Vikings. Lions probably beat Panthers and 49ers beat the Commodores. Chiefs beat Seahawks. You could see the Cinderella Lions at the 7 seed after next weekend. I think if tied 49ers become 2 seed over Vikings.
