(after their bye week of course)

They face the lowest seed correct

Thanks

The NFL is rigged. After the BS flag thrown on McLaurin for not being on the line after he checked with the official doesn't prove it nothing will.

Then there is the no call for PI in the end zone as the cherry on top.

it's obvious the NFL don't want Snyder and his Commandos in the playoffs.
just cause he checked with the official doesn't mean he wasn't lined up correctly

Receivers check with the official to make sure they are covering the tackle so it kinda does.
pointing at the official does nothing

Did you ever play receiver? You look to the ref before the snap and check with him if your good or nah. If he says your good he won't throw a flag.
exactly, pointing at the official doesn't do anything. if you're not lined up..you're not lined up... i don't need to be a NFL WR to know that

They teach this in High School man when your lining up to check with ref to avoid getting a flag. I dont know what to tell you man
ok... but teaching this in high school doesn't have anything to do with lining up incorrectly

It's the refs opinion if your on/off the LoS so yea it does. I've never seen someone argue something as simple as this
i'm not arguing anything.. you're bringing high school into this... I said awhile back pointing at the Ref does nothing... why does it do nothing ?... because it's up to the Ref at the end

Okay well you're wrong. Pointing is them checking if they are lined up to the refs liking.
wrong about what, the flag was the correct call as he was off the LOS

and you just confirmed i was right "It's the refs opinion if your on/off the LoS"

Here's how I feel we match up against possible opponents in the playoffs:

@ PHI
The Eagles have very few weaknesses, but their defense is "good, not great". They do have a good D-line, so we'll need the quick screen game.. This seems like the inevitable NFCCG.

@ MIN (we could overtake, but that seems unlikely)
The Vikings have a terrific offensive and a marginal defense. We should be able to control the ball on both sides. I like our chances either home or away, obviously want it at home.

TB
We just saw this game. I doubt even Brady could change that outcome. And they'll have to travel to us.

DAL
Explosive offense, suspect defense. I like our chances. Game would be at Levi's.

NYG
Great coaching has this team relevant, but we're superior in every way.

WAS
We'll see Saturday, any playoff matchup would be a rematch at Levi's. I suspect a low scoring game, but I have confidence our defense will stifle them.

SEA
We just swept them and this game would be at home. High confidence.

DET
After the Eagles, I see the Lions as the worst matchup for us, as their speed and passing offense could expose Hufanga and Gibson. I do think we could score on them and should be favored.

The Seattle game can be just as dangerous as Philly. Regardless of how good they are, it is so difficult to beat a team 3 times in the same year, as evidenced by last year NFCCG. No thanks. I still feel like Minnesota will give us the #2 seed, and while I know we're better, don't wanna have to go there.

We barely, barely beat the Rams last season and they were eventual SB champs. It's not really comparable.

It certainly is. Division matchups can go either way each time they meet. I can't convince you to worry about it, but I certainly would. Hopefully they just don't get in.

Hurts out Sunday versus the Cowboys.
it's official ?

Would be funny if Dallas still loses.

They almost lost to the Texans, They were in a 21-19 game with the Colts and they just lost to the Jags. I'd still take the Eagles in this game.

I think that the pointing and aligning has more to do with being offsides for the WR. He's just ensuring he's not lined up offsides. I don't think the ref is doing a quick scan of the entire formation and giving the thumbs up that the WR is correct positionally...just that he's not over the ball or close to it. That's why you see them do a quick adjustment (usually backing up a step)

It's not for checking to see if the WR is offsides. It's to make sure he's either on or off the LoS. WRs off the LoS will reach their hand back to signal to the ref that they want to be off the LoS.

Wow, thank you. I never knew that.

I agree Detroit is the sleeper here. They could now run the table against Carolina, Chicago, and Green Bay. They are peaking at just the right time. They have now won 6 out of 7, and Goff is playing like the guy everyone hoped he would be coming out of college.

Vikings D is atrocious. Cowboys D is pretty good. And we have the key to beating Goff (sound it out)

tldw: bad scheme fit with physical CBs being asked to play with a cushion, and they don't communicate well leading to busted coverages.

I understand the hesitation about beating a team 3x in one season, but I'm putting them near the bottom of the potential playoff opponents… we could face then opening week. I'd feel pretty confident in that game.

Are they kind of like the 2012 Giants?

now you're just spinning it lol

check with the refs for no reason ...what does that even mean or have to do with what happened ?

Pointing at the Ref doesn't make you automatically lined up correctly, you still have to move up to the LOS which he did not and the ref told him to move up.. stop making this so hard

Lol
Eagles play @ Cowboys, vs Saints and vs Giants. The #1 seed is kind in play right now, but they need to go 0-3.
