Discuss.

Not a good question to ask after the guy posted 4 TD passes against Arizona. Pose this question after the Denver game and I'm sure the poll results would be flipped.

point being….Jimmy's biggest drawback is his inconsistency. It's what cost us the 2019 Superbowl and the 2021 NFCC game. He played good enough for 3 quarters and then an epic collapse where he can't even get a first down to seal the win.

Im glad he's on a roll. But history shows that Jimmy will fall from the heavens and fall down to earth pretty damn hard at some point.

I like how last week most ppl voted he's the guy 'holding the offense back' and this week he's worth 3 ones.

It's why you gotta love the Zone!

bro. if we're primed to win the Superbowl right now, this season, I want a f**king SuperBowl.

otherwise, you not only have a WASTED season because Trey lance doesn't develop

AND

you waste it x2 by trading Jimmy away and starting Purdy.

lol. hell no.

Uhhh... So, trade draft capital for CMC, which essentially is an all-in kind of move....... and then trade your current-starting QB, with the intention of riding a rookie QB drafted with the last pick in the draft for the remainder of the year. That's a No for me.

I agree with you both. Was just curious because the attitude of some in the Jimmy thread is that any average QB could do what Jimmy is doing. I'm not even sure I'd do it for three 1sts which would make Trey free. Lol.

oh Jimmy's better than the average QB so that's a non-issue for me.
What's the point of this hypothetical? The trade deadline is long gone.
I was considering this move until I saw Purdy hand the ball off to John Cena.

So are you one of the 4 who voted yes? Lol

Wondering what the zone values Jimmy at right now. We know how you voted. "One of Jimmy's biggest fans."

In their defense, the other option was the head coach. So that was obviously skewed to be anti-Jimmy.

I never wanted to get rid of JG and I still don't. The question should be how much will it cost Niners to sign a Super Bowl winning QB.

But we can't trade him. It's past the trade deadline. Seems like the better way to gauge his perceived value would be to ask if people would be willing to pay him the current going rate of a franchise QB? (roughly $250 million at $50 million per year)

The real question is would you trade Lance for those 2 firsts. Much more interesting question.

Its not even a debate. Of course you get the picks back.
In what scenario would this possibly make any sense?

ABSOLUTELY.... If my plan was to lose the locker room FOREVER.
Would much rather trade Trey to some team who would be foolish enough to take him for 2 1sts... hell one higher 1st at this point.
