I ain't sold until we beat a team like da chiefs

To be fair, beating the chiefs is the hardest thing to do in the NFL this season. They'll probably win it all.

Yup, if we do make the super bowl - that's the only team I don't want to see.

I see that, but to be the best, you have to beat the best. A revenge game would be great and we actually win. But for now, it's one game at a time

Go, Niners, go!
This may actually be the "trap game" that fans love to say every week. Hope they aren't looking ahead to Miami.

Would be a great week to get a fresh Ebukam and Armstead back in the DL rotation

I'd like to see Kinlaw added back into that equation as well.
Looking at the late return from Mexico, tempering down of practice, short week, I can definitely see this game being a little struggle. It's cool tho, just get the dub and stay healthy
I think MM will need help against Cameron Jordan. Too much power to handle on his own. Need chips on him. If we can manage that to open up the pass, we should be good. Ultimately, I think winning the turnover battle will be key in this one. Dalton is better than McCoy, and their runners are a threat.

Saints are playing much better than people expected and I think the game could be closer than expected as well.

Cameron Jordan has an orbital bone fracture, wonder if he plays.

49ers already had their trap game of the season at Atlanta. I could've sworn they were favored by 9-10 but s**t the bed.

It wasnt a trap game...it was a snake bit game

A majority of defensive starters were injured and missed that game

As a result ATL ran their power game down our throat and our 2s and 3s on the DL couldnt stop them

A regular 49er team smokes ATL

Saints offensive and defensive rankings.

Offense
22.6 PPG (15th)
237.5 PYPG (7th)
117.7 RYPG (15th)

Defense
24.3 PPG (25th)
195.2 PYPG (8th)
132.1 RYPG (22nd)

-12 turnover differential
Do you have access to DVOA numbers for the same stats?

Their pass defense is ranked 8th in the league. They have played CIN (4th), TB (5th), LV (8th), MIN (10th) and SEA (13th).

That's legit.

He is sort of right. We want a better NFC conference record than anyone we are competing against for a playoff spot. I still think Miami is a good barometer for how good we really are

saints are a conference team and dolphins are an AFC team so they have no impact on tiebreaking procedure in the case of a same record when it comes to playoff standings
