Jimmy passed for 222 yards which is 27 yards more than the saints 8th ranked pass defenses season average. He had 0 turnovers and a TD pass. He was also drilled on several plays and held in there tough. No complaints from me today about Jimmy. I am worried about the knee injuries to Mitchell and CMC though. Hope the one that Mitchell suffered isn't anything serious and they were just being cautious.

He played pretty well until the 2 three and outs in the third. Can't leave TDs off of the board though

Again, he fared better than most against that 8th ranked pass defense.

He missed some throws, for sure. But I'm not fretting.
One of the three and outs, I was okay-ish with because we were backed up.

Ultimately, it did feel like the offense was moving relatively well against a good defense. We made plays but were also inconsistent. No interceptions in a pass-heavy game is nice to see. We also threw the ball on a third down in the fourth quarter to successfully milk the last possession and secure the defense's shutout. That's huge trust, in my opinion.

Agreed. Jimmy completed nearly 68% of his passes and only took 1 sack today on 38 dropbacks.

AND our oline played

Folks are severely underestimating how good that saints d line really is.
Next week is gonna be a huge test. Miami on a streak right now.

Incredible timing by Bosa on this snap.

I replayed it frame by frame and he crossed the line about 2 frames after the snap was moving. Probably a matter of a hundredth of a second or so.

amazing. for sure it looked offsides on tv

The 1 sack is an understatement. He kept getting knocked the f**k out repeatedly. Not to mention the possible knee injury.

some of those was him holding on the ball too long I feel.

That knee injury occurred outside the pocket trying to buy more time after he spent quite a bit of time in the pocket. Again, folks are severely understimating how good that saints d line really is.

Jimmy ALWAYS holds on to the ball TOO LONG cuz KYLE DOES NOT dial up coverage beaters EVER!!! I can't remember when jimmy had an easy designed throw on say 2nd and 8 THIS ENTIRE SEASON

its always some heart stopping laser beam in between 3 defenders. Stop putting everything ON JIMMYS SHOULDERS!!!

We did late in the game when we were trying to get a drive going in the 4th. Jimmy ended up throwing the ball in the dirt because no one got open on a 3 man route.

no there was like 2-3 times where he checked it out late and took a hit when the check down was there early and open.
