KYLE just confirmed how stupid the call was.. Grappy was again about to throw on a crowded area..

" RUN THE BALL !! I MEAN, RUN THE BALL !!! " - Sherman !!

are you complimenting jimmy on his common sense decision?

did we keep te or juice in for extra blocking? saw jimmy getting punched in the face quite a bit

I think there were some plays they did… I did feel like the Saints mixed up well between blitzing and keeping guys back in coverage. There was one play I recall where both stayed into block, and the Saints dropped 7 into coverage.

I was okay with the play action call. I was actually surprised we threw it on 4th and what… 2? I feel like we run in that situation.

My problem with it was that it felt like there was only one or two reads and Jimmy didn't have any options. Curious what the film shows that Jimmy thought he had a lane.

Jimmy passed for 222 yards which is 27 yards more than the saints 8th ranked pass defenses season average. He had 0 turnovers and a TD pass. He was also drilled on several plays and held in there tough. No complaints from me today about Jimmy. I am worried about the knee injuries to Mitchell and CMC though. Hope the one that Mitchell suffered isn't anything serious and they were just being cautious.

My thoughts exactly.

IT'S A GIMMICK OFFENSE.. been tellin. yah'll that !!

the play was design to get the ball to the INITIAL TARGET, and as always, when that target is covered or not there, then GRAPPYS ON HIS OWN..

Next week is gonna be a huge test. Miami on a streak right now.

Hey THIS was the week of the HUGE TEST.

I said before the game figuring out where Jimmy is, will come when he gets knocked down 3-4-5 times --- and today WAS THAT DAY.

And, how did he do?

Basically, HE THREW ONE PICK DESPITE GETTING HIS DENTURES CLEANED MULTIPLE TIMES.

Everything else was a good throw away decision, or safe throw, or successful throw. On 40 ATTEMPTS.

For Jimmy, THAT IS REAL progress. He is thinking better.

People have to be pleased. No way they could imagine this last year.

Good win. Il take that all the time. Shutouts are always great. Wasn't easy but to win a ship we gotta win every way possible
Sweet yet ugly win. Defense showed up big when it counted most. Jimmy flirting with disaster was scary but good teams win those games. Happy to get the W. I hope we don't get bad injuries out of this game…. Mason is ready to step up. Hard runner, he will be good.

There were a couple missed throws, a couple bad reads, but OL did him no favors today. He played pretty well overall despite poor OL play and running game never really got going.
