This Niner team will shut down Miami's attack.

Bosa and the boys are going to need to keep the pressure on Tua. Our DBs will have a hard time keeping up with those speedy WRs.

agreed. one sack on the last play of the game wont cut it.
we'll get eaten alive by if we sit back in our Charmin 4/7 baby cheeks soft zone. Not interested in watching jimmy ward futile trail technique all game long.

I imagine we give those WR's a lot of coushin and let them dink and dunk their way down the field. Our offense has to stay on schedule and not settle for FG's.

Dolphins have also been playing a huge strech of games against the worst defenses they have struggled a bit against good defenses up to date
both Terron Armstead and Austin Jackson were out at end of there game yesterday. Armstead is supposed to miss time and I don't know the severity of Jackson's injury. Tua got sacked and hit multiple times yesterday after Armstead left.
It looks like Jackson injured his ankle and he was out most of this year he got injured during season opener and has only started this Texans game since then
Also the reason he got on the IR was an ankle injury not sure if its the same issue/ankle

They haven't faced a top team in a while.
If we can pressure tua and force him to throw some mistakes, we have a good chance.

Their receivers are so fast that you can't give them too big a cushion. If you give them too much space they can run away from our defenders. This is the fastest pair of receivers in history. Nobody is having much luck slowing them down so if the Niners can it will be a real accomplishment.

I trust the D to do their part.
The O has to sustain drives and quit taxing the D to death.
Give the D a healthy lead.

Ward has practiced against Hill plenty so that's good. I'd look at Tuas tendencies and get up on these receivers and dare Tua to beat us deep with 2 deep safeties

Im looking at their game log and
Pats, Bills, and steelers all kept them under 21 points. All are well coached teams and good defense (apart from steelers who are well coached but defensive personnel is only ok). I would also say those are the only good to decent defenses they played ( taking out non Tua games cause its a bit unfair to include them in)

Edit: Nevermind read the wrong stat
we are currently #8 in yards/drive we are top 3 since we got CMC however

If you don't give them enough of a cushion and they blow right by our corners, they will make quick work of us. Pick your poison with speed like that. I would rather give them the underneath stuff than to allow them to blow the top off of our defense.

I don't think the fellas need bulletin board material but show them the quotes by our former RB's and watch the D go to work.

i mean we have one of the best sustain drive rate in NFL right now last i checked we were top 3 or 4 in NFL in yards/drive
Edit: we are 3rd in yards/drive behind KC and Buffalo respectively and for those curious we are 5th in points/drive as well
totally understand...
yet against these high powered teams (ie:chiefs) that formula gets challenged.
Even yesterday was way harder than it needed to be with a sputtering offense.

ya im with you
Hill is just a special talent at the back of his dropback he is already 20 yards downfield its ridiculous and Waddle is also one of the fastest WR in nfl its why their run game is so efficient its literally impossible to stack the box unless you want Hill to run past everyone
