Agreed. I think with a depleted Miami o-line and the ability (hopefully) to bother Tua rushing four, odds are good we can slow their offense down enough to win a shootout. I really want to hear Armstead is on track to return.

QB - even
RB - 49ers
WR - Phins
TE - 49ers
OL - 49ers
DL - 49ers
LB - 49ers
DB - push
ST - 49ers
COA - 49ers
'somehow pull this off'
we are the better TEAM
TBPH even receivers I give the edge to the 49ers. I think Deebo with Aiyuk and Kittle and CMC with Jennings playing a monster on 3rd down ? That's way better than Hill and Waddle.
the QB however I give the edge to Tua. He's very versatile and has a higher ceiling than Jimmy…
Spot on regarding the qb.
I think it's also important to compare the "scheme" which Miami has the slight edge, imo.
When it's all said and done, scheme may be the reason why we fall short in this one…
i find it funny people saying scheme is the reason the dolphins might win but they probably watch2d less than 2 minutes of film on them
Lose due to the scheme? It's basically Kyles offense. We have one of the best DC's in the game who has gone against this scheme everyday in practice for 2 years and is fantastic at making adjustments in game. If we lose it's because we lose the turnover battle, or have a bunch of penalties, offensive miscues. Dolphins defense is terrible and with their banged up OL I like our chances

Take this to the bank. The Dolphins are going with the quick passing game and will get Hill and Waddle out in space. 3 step drop and the ball is gone. Tua isn't taking 5 step drops and holding the ball. Running game, screens and quick passes.

Sounds like a win for our defense who likes to force offenses into the short/quick passing game anyway. We have one of if not the best tackling defenses in the NFL. So again, sounds like a win for our defense.

Highest single-season passer rating on 3rd down since play-by-play data has been tracked (1991):
— NFL Research (@NFLResearch) November 29, 2022
Tua Tagovailoa (2022): 145.6
Steve Young (1994): 141.2
Kurt Warner (1999): 137.3
Young and Warner won both the regular season & Super Bowl MVPs that season#FinsUp @MiamiDolphins

I think Hill will have a big game (like always) but that's it.
