I just don't think Yasiel Puig is as good as he was hyped up to be.

31-28 Niners
Dolphins score 7 in the final minutes and don't recover the onside kick
we'll be up by 10 late in the fourth quarter, it'll just get a lil dicey there at the end, its ok though, fred warner will recover the onside
I think that's the correct amount of butt clenching. Blowouts are boring. Nail biter games cramp my glutes.

Lack of air yards gives me constipation.

We've only played 1 decent team all year (the Chiefs) and they blew us out without much trouble. This game will tell us a lot about our ability to compete with good teams.

Most analysts are raving about the 49ers defense, some are already calling it historic; that might be going too far. Yes, you only get to play the teams on your schedule, and just about every team the 49ers played this season was bad or avg (excl the one loss to Chiefs).
This is a good test for Shanahan (has he improved in his play calls?) and a good test for the 49ers defense. It will set or re-set expectations for this team, after the game is all said & done.
The 49ers have two untested RBs now (Mason and Ty Price), not sure CMC's health, it seems on and off. Jimmy G. will be his usual, avg-good-avg this season.
One key question: can Hill and Waddle be really stopped by this 49ers secondary, in the 4th quarter when the DLine is tired? Given the teams we faced so far this season, there is no real positive proof, so far.

I was throwing that post out there because some fans on here have unrealistic expectations when it comes to the parity in the NFL. We played 1 decent team this season and lost. Yes. It was a close contest for most of the game and we just let it get away from us in the 4th quarter. The defense got over aggessive and got burnt a few times. The offense sputtered and fell apart in the redzone too many times and it eventually did us in.
When it comes down to it, we can only play the games on our schedule. We had a bad two game skid but we have been playing much better since, offensively and defensively. We have another shot at playing a decent opponent. This one I am sure Kyle wants to prove that he is still the master. I am sure Jimmy is fired up for this game to make Mostert eat his words. I am sure the defense is also fired up and ready to prove that they are better than that KC performance. This game will be a close game throughout but I think we will find away to win it.

Agreed. This is a really good test esp. for our defense. And if it goes badly, can the offense transcend another poor performance like the Chiefs?

agree - while not a "must win" game I think this game sets the tone on if the Niners are truly on a path to the SB or just a mild threat in the playoffs.

Lets go Dodgers! Puig was fun and exciting at first. But his brain got in the way of him playing baseball.

The chiefs game was an 8 point game w 12 mins left and chiefs had a 3rd and 12. Just didn't work out but let's not rewrite history and say we got crushed. Wheels ended up falling off due to a series of bad plays
