Injuries killing us.

My sympathies to Jimmy. Ugh. At least he has millions and hot mamas everywhere fighting to get him in them.

I literally watched a video of him doing that dal
prescott thing for warmups and the ladies comment I need him to do this in my face. Seriously jimmy is the mvp off the field.

Yep. He's a ridiculously attractive fellow.

Seriously think hard before saying jimmy is done in San Francisco. The front office will find a way to bring him back to do it all over again. Jed to jimmy. I cant quit u. He will be back. I don't want it. I don't like it but he will be back.

There is some reasonableness to this. Due to (yet another) injury, the market may not be that hot for him. But if Brock plays at a similar level, the 49ers will probably move on. Basically, Jimmy's fate as a 49er going forward depends on Mr. Irrelevant.

Shanny was asked in they can activate Trey Lance, and he said no, we can't. It's Purdy the rest of the way.

Does he mean can't as in rules don't allow it or can't as in he won't be healed? Not familiar with the rules.

Won't be healed. We have two remaining IR activations so it's not that. One of those probably is for Kinlaw, the other Mitchell

Do not waste one for kinlaw. At least mitchell will give 2-3 outstanding games. Kinlaw is
toast
Agree. Kinlaw is adequate. Run defense held fine with him in there, but it was more AA. With Kinlaw I will say it wasn't as bad with the low it sunk to for the Atlanta game however.

So is Purdy better than Mullens? How long will DC figure him out?

Yes he is. More mobile and better arm. Decision making to be determined. Decisive
Can't do that yet. Wait 3 or 4 games once defensive coordinators get some film on him. Does Todd Bowles still blitz QBs to death?

You ride with Trey and Brock, and take the 3rd round comp in 2024 when Jimmy signs with Washington/New York/Carolina.

On another note, considering Ryans is all but gone, hope he gets the Chargers job. A lot of talent and we won't have to see them until 2026, barring a Super Bowl.

Well it was a good season. On to 2023!

bro, this team just beat probably the hottest team not named the eagles with our 3rd string QB. And he looked really good!

I don't know how anyone could have watched todays game and feel like its over.

It was a great win. But we aren't going to be doing much with a 7th round rookie QB. It is what it is.

Perhaps not. But Purdy played a lot of football in college, so I'd say he's more prepared than most rooks.

Fck it enjoy the ride. We might be able to upset Somone and take joy from their misery. I would love to snipe the cowboys one more time

Now that the game is over and injave control of my emotions, I give credit to the defense, Shanahan, and purdy. Big win.

Seasons still over though if Jimmy's out for the year.

This post has a really big "tell me you just took off your Dolphins jersey and put a Niners jersey back on without telling me" energy to it.

spot on.

The #1 defense didn't give a f**k a about Tua. See what happen when he played a real defense. Sit the f**k down!!!!

Only choice is to enjoy.

I hope he doesn't fall off a cliff like MULLEN's who turned out to be a big flop.

Say it louder for the kids in the back.

The thing is somehow he was s**tting his pants before he even threw some passes.

Multiple guys were wide open over the top the whole first half and he just flat out missed them.

They should have had 21-28 points in the first half alone if tua was not atrocious. Ryan's looked lost as hell the first half.

Mullens played himself into a perennial backup QB job. Long term, that's great for an undrafted rookie.

Purdy has a better arm than Mullens, and hopefully doesn't try to play hero ball, which is what usually got Mullens in trouble.

Nah. At this point he's damaged goods. The harp on him has always been his play, but the injuries have also been an issue in the background. I highly doubt Shanalynch will bring him back even on a backup contract, and Jimmy will be looking for a starting job next year. The fake media love he was getting for the past 2 days was assuming he carried this team deep into the playoffs for a possible SB run.

Now that that's out the window, I don't see why the team would risk bringing back an oft injured, unable to win the big one, quarterback on a hefty contract with Trey waiting in the wings.

thanks for the memories Jimmy, or lack thereof…

There is no way Jimmy steps on the field again as a 9er. Zero
It's really over.
