SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs MIAMI DOLPHINS - 2022 Game 12

What 2022 season has taught me: outcomes are not what were expected

love it!

Probably because they've been more consistent and they've beaten some good teams.

I think the gameplan should be to press Tyreek HIll with a safety over the top. Squat on the short stuff and rely on Bosa/AA to make the pocket uncomfortable. Not scared of MIA's conventional run game, especially with both OTs out.

Yea, I was thinking they should press Hill with a S over the top as well. What I worry about is that it seems like they run the same deep ins across the middle that we do but at greater depth. Really challenges our LBs to get good depth I feel like which could compromise the underneath routes and possibly the run game as you said.

That will be the key, can we make Tua uncomfortable. If he gets out of the pocket, its Russell Wilson days all over again.
Must win game. We need to make a statement.

Definitely this
Something must be wrong with Kurt Warner, he picked the 9ers to win.
I don't know which one hates the 9ers more Warner or Collinsworth?

I do think MIA will test Hufanga and Gipson's ability to play the deep ball at some point. Those two are smart but aren't known for being fast. If MIA wants to attack the intermediate middle with Deep Ins and crossers, I trust Warner/Ward/Greenlaw to make it dicey in that area. It's a strength of the 49ers in pass coverage so I am okay with putting those three to the test.

The key here will be to neutralize Waddle. Hopefully Moony Ward neutralizes Tyreek Hill to some extent. McDaniels will know this, and will therefore attack the weak link on our defense (Lenoir). Jimmy Ward in the slot is also a glaring weakness. I'm hoping we can press Hill with Gibson helping over the top. That leaves Huf to help with Waddle on other side.

DONT let Waddle expose you !!!!

Why would Warner hate us ? His teams pretty much owned us when he was playing…..

This is absolute. I get it, if we lose we're still in the playoff hunt but this is a statement game. This tells the NFL the KC game was a fluke.
time to prove it! show you can beat a good team. I think our boys are up to the challenge. SF is a better team. May the best team win.
Expect a lot of jet sweeps, reverses and screens this game as they don't want injury-prone Tua taking too many hits with both tackles out. He's not a scrambling QB so I'm not worried about that.

This game means more for optics, like you said, a statement game. But the upcoming NFC games mean so much more for the playoffs.

Some good teams like who? A banged-up Bills team where the Bills had to miss an easy field goal and brain fart on the final drive for them to win?
