Probably because they've been more consistent and they've beaten some good teams.

I think the gameplan should be to press Tyreek HIll with a safety over the top. Squat on the short stuff and rely on Bosa/AA to make the pocket uncomfortable. Not scared of MIA's conventional run game, especially with both OTs out.
Yea, I was thinking they should press Hill with a S over the top as well. What I worry about is that it seems like they run the same deep ins across the middle that we do but at greater depth. Really challenges our LBs to get good depth I feel like which could compromise the underneath routes and possibly the run game as you said.

That will be the key, can we make Tua uncomfortable. If he gets out of the pocket, its Russell Wilson days all over again.

I don't know which one hates the 9ers more Warner or Collinsworth?

I do think MIA will test Hufanga and Gipson's ability to play the deep ball at some point. Those two are smart but aren't known for being fast. If MIA wants to attack the intermediate middle with Deep Ins and crossers, I trust Warner/Ward/Greenlaw to make it dicey in that area. It's a strength of the 49ers in pass coverage so I am okay with putting those three to the test.

Why would Warner hate us ? His teams pretty much owned us when he was playing…..

This is absolute. I get it, if we lose we're still in the playoff hunt but this is a statement game. This tells the NFL the KC game was a fluke.

This game means more for optics, like you said, a statement game. But the upcoming NFC games mean so much more for the playoffs.
