Is the season over without Jimmy G?

In terms of winning the Super Bowl, I think their chances are pretty slim, but I think they were slim anyway with Jimmy. He just doesn't match up to the QBs in the AFC.

I think they were the best team in the NFC with Jimmy and I think that has taken a hit. I'd be surprised if Brock Purdy was able to beat Philly in the NFC title game, in Philly. Otherwise, I think the Niners can still win the division and beat anyone else in the NFC as is.

Baker time.

I don't think this defense is comparable to either of those 2 defenses. Those were shut down units. We're actually quite leaky, but opportunistic. Huff will make an amazing game changing play at the goal line one week, then completely miss an assignment and give up a 70 yard TD the following week.

It's why KC was able to expose us a few weeks ago. And if Tua played like a real quarterback in the first half, this could have easily been a 21 or 28 pointer on this D going into the half…
"Shut down units". The rules were different back then. If you breathe on a QB or WR wrong these days, it's a flag. So it's apples to oranges. With today's rules, our D stacks up with some of the best in history.

Never seen a football game where opposing QBs actually "matched up" against each other. Did you want Jimmy G at Free Safety or something?

He's white, not Kaepernick and he's already failed at two starting gigs. Sure why not?
Baker should absolutely be a possibility

he's also currently better than Kap.
Mayfield would be very good on this team. I would defiantly be all over this if I was management. Dude went no1 for a reason. He sucks on other teams but for us he would be just right

Kap hasn't played in 7 years. Give it up.
