For the record I was totally kidding about it being Baker Time. I'd rather roll with Purdy.

Baker getting another chance after failing twice is infuriating really.

Kap hasn't played in years. I doubt he's anything close to what he was the last time we saw him.

I actually watched his last workout...he looked fine to me. His arm is still great. Maybe he can't run 90 yards for TDs like he used to before.

Baker at the vet minimum as a backup to Purdy. I don't think many teams have the cap space to claim Baker.

It would not take much with a team like this. If Baker is better than Purdy, if we can afford him, and IF he does not bring too much baggage or ruin the locker room... we should grab him as a backup at least?

Agreed. In what way can one prove that Baker is Better than Colin?

Currently he's actually been playing in the NFL. Kap has been setting up fake try outs like he actually wants to play.

That isn't proof. Baker hasn't been better statistically nor has he accomplished more. If all you can come up with is that one is still in the league but now as a career backup and the other is out due to being blacklisted, you really don't have anything.

If Dilfer can win a SB based on defense, so can Purdy. Would be one of the all-time greatest stories ever.
