The Rams won't get him to spite us. That's not how McVay rolls. It's petty, deprives their backups of live reps they need for development and isn't going to help them anyway with all their stars out. It's just going to create another negative story line that they don't need when Baker can't carry them to the playoffs.

Why would the Texans risk their draft position at this point? It's not like Baker is going to resign their in the offseason.

New Orleans, same thing. Is he really going to be better than Dalton or Hill, who've both been their all season and know the entire offense? They could still make the playoffs because their division is so bad but realistically undermining Dalton and Hill isn't good for them long-term... and they absolutely don't have the money to resign him in the offseason.

The Seahawks could do it out of spite/strategic considerations and the Jets absolutely need a QB and still have something to play for. But Baker would loudly object to being put behind Gino and not given a chance to play so I don't think he would be happy in Seattle and that's not healthy for that locker room.

I think it's between us and the Jets... maybe the Ravens if Lamar's injury keeps getting worse.

Rams would be awesome. Sign him!

beat Seattle WK18 lol

The bigger story is how do the Rams have $1.35M?
Lesson learned: this is not a QB-centric offense.

But it sure helps a ton...

Makes no sense at all. Just another playful term to come up with that doesn't mean much.
So who are the 37% that voted it's over?

man up! hahaha

All offenses are QB-centric. They touch the ball on every snap. They have to have command of the huddle. They have to make the correct changes at the line. They need to find a way to consistently convert on 3rd down. They have to lead the offense to scoring drives. To think that not all offenses are QB-centric is just another way to set up blame on Shanahan when the QB s**ts the bed.

QB-reliant. Is that better?

And that is a CREDIT to ShanaLynch's team building philosophy and systems.

If our QB goes down it's not as significant as when Patrick Mahomes or Tom Brady (55 passes against us) go down. We can still win. Like WR, OL, RB and TE. 31st in injuries. No biggie.

Like the old WCO where the question was always, "Is it the system or the player?" Next man up always found just as much success within the system. The truth is its the players targeted for the system.

If this was a pass-centric offense, no doubt, it would be a whole other game.

For us, when we do find that special QB + system, it's unstoppable.

As to your last sentence, you are way too sensitive about Kyle. LOL.

Really? How many games did we win with Beathard and Mullens? Are we still SB contenders if we had kept Sudfeld and cut Purdy?

I guess all the fire Shanahan talk on here over the last 2 seasons has made me a bit sensitive.
