First sign of a sack he just lays down AND if you watch closely he protects his hands but moving them away from the pressure point of the oncoming attack.

Absolutely.

The GOAT understood the mission.

what's more important, saving a field goal or saving a legendary SuperBowl run?

wisdom is the key to longevity, but here's jimmy boy making the same mistake twice.

Ya he just knew that he was going to break his foot on that play. Like come on man you are ridiculous

But if he stood there and tire his ACL it'd be "why not try to escape!!!"
Call me crazy but I will never not fear a Brady led team. Especially one that has a top 5 defense that plays well vs the run as we roll out QB3 as our starter.

I do think we should be able to win this game as long as we don't turn the ball over. I do worry about whether our running game can get enough traction vs the Bucs to make it easier on Brock on passing downs. He showed good things but Tampa Bay defense is a big step up from the Dolphins. I imagine they'll have something for him to try and rattle him and I sure hope he's ready to answer.

Need to stack these Ws and get to Seattle at 9-4 then take Geno down a peg again.
17-9 Bucs

They are 18th against the run and give up 4.5 YPC.

Miami's run defense is ranked higher than the Bucs. Bucs are better overall because their pass defense is better. That can be deceiving though since Miami was scoring a lot of points which forces teams to throw if they want to catch up. Some of those passing yards could have been given up during garbage time in the 4th quarter.

Great point.

Bosa is licking his chops!

Yes, but 50 passes and 20 runs like last night is a LOT of plays for the defense with another, bigger game on Thursday.

Need the offense to play ball hog, and try to sub guys on defense a little more then usual.
Rock with Brock!
Brock Purdy carries the weight of all the past Mr. Irrelevants on his shoulders as he tries to steady the ship.
He is poised, confident and accurate
His teammates are ready to shoulder the responsibility, which could get the best out of them
This team is bigger than any one player

Some decent quotes from analysts this week. Let's have this one week of praising Purdy, hopefully it lasts longer.

Could be, I guess that's the NFL, over-reactions and short memories.
Let's see, time will tell.

Nice won't score more than 10 points vs us. NO held them to 17. Don't disrespect our defense like that!

For sure.

that said I swear i see something a little different in Purdy than the hoyer/mullens/beathard trilogy.

He clearly looked more confident (unless i missed it I didnt ever see happy feet on the day)

He didnt seem to even be nervous if thats even possible.

Roll outs were clean.

maybe a half second late on some throws but they still worked.
