SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at SEATTLE SEAHAWKS - 2022 Game 14

That defensive TD that got called back sucked. I know Bosa said it was probably the right call and maybe it was based on the rules, but I rewatched it about 5 times and I don't know how he could have completed that play and not landed on top of the QB. That rule needs to be changed. If it's obvious that the defender is trying to drive him into the ground then it should be a penalty. That wasn't the case here. It was a good clean tackle. At the very least they should review calls like that. They review everything else.

Then we had a mossed FG which Gould usually makes. Cap it off with the run to the 1 yard line where they just killed the clock.

The final score here could have been 38-13.

It could have been 38-10 if Hufanga doesn't drop that INT near the goal line.

3. 2022 Season - currently on a 7 game streak of 15 pts allowed a game

… if we can do this to Washington…. Then we will be in the right side of history 😈

7 game streak in this year is equal to probably more than 8 in those other seasons. Offensive league to say the least.

That was the weakest roughing call in the history of history.

I swear that was called from NY to keep viewers on the game

Lol. It would have made the game 28-3 with SEA offense not doing a damn thing all night. For sure folks would have changed the channel.

Was it a late flag? Did it get thrown after the Interception was made?

Totally. Sack fumble bounces right back to them. Greenlaw and Hufunga s/h had a pick. Lenoir had a pick-6 negated by penalty. Gould miss. Mason to the 1.

No it wasn't a late flag, I don't think. Just saying that if that flag wasn't thrown, viewership would have gone down at that very moment.

On the local postgame show last night, Donte Whitner said this is the best 49er defense ever. When asked to explain himself he mentioned how wide open offenses are and how the rules lean offense.

Well now we know that Wilson was the real reason we could never beat them.

Absolutely. Considering how terrible Wilson has been this year, yet plays just well enough to beat us, while we smash the Seahawks by a combined 48-20... what more evidence does one need that it was Wilson shenanigans all along that somehow almost always found that extra element to best us?

Could have been 10-7 Seattle at half if Diggs doesn't drop the INT. And that could have changed the complexion of the game. At the end, the common denominator is the refs SUCK. They cannot and should not make the game about them. Ridiculous calls on both sides slows the game down. It's the only sport where a ref can decide the outcome of the game and IF Seattle had won, there would have been some key calls we would be looking back on that decided the game for them.

pathetic

It's a solid point.

Surprised the Packers didn't dump Rodgers and try to get Wilson so they could finally beat us in the Playoffs.

As dominant as our defenses have been over the past decade, it is a known FACT that we always struggle against mobile quarterbacks. Look at old man Geno yesterday scampering for 15 yards on a 3rd and forever. Looks at Mahomes and Mariotta ( ) earlier this year. It's what could be a deciding factor if we play Hurts and Philly in the playoffs.

I don't know whether Demeco has to set a spy or change something else in the scheme, we must have a check on mobile quarterbacks. It's the only reason the midget had success against us over the past decade. I was watching parts of the 2013 NFCC game yesterday on NFLN. We were beating Seattle IN Seattle 10-0 midway through the second quarter, until the midget pulled off a loop da loop swirl around in the pocket Hail Mary pass to his receiver which broke open their offense.

Gotta fix this bc there's reason the believe that the road to number 6 will go through a combo of Hurts, Mahomes or Allen….

Because LaFarts knew we'd sign Rodgers and then his ego would be checked over Shanahan
