Because the offense was so boring with Jimmy

Jimmy's 4TD game in Mexico City says hi to your recency bias.

Only 16 combined points in his last two starts with all of our weapons playing.

Bruh you must be trolling to count a single drive against Miami as a "start." It might technically be a start, but that's quite the assumption that the 49ers would have only scored 3 points had Jimmy not gone down so early.

The offense did not look good while Jimmy was playing in that game, a week after only putting up 13 points against NO. It is what it is. 16 combined points in his last two starts. 56 points in two starts with Purdy.

He threw 4 passes. Come on now.

Lance doesn't get that consideration.

I'm right there with you. I just don't see the logic in extrapolating Jimmy's 4 pass performance into a full game... just like I don't assume Trey season would've been a failure based on 5 quarters this year. It's not fair to either player.

Saying Jimmy scored 16 points in two weeks is intentionally misleading IMO. Just like it would be to make definitive statements about how Lance would've played if not for the injury,.I just don't think its necessary to frame criticisms that way for either QB.

We should all be excited for Brock that he's proving to be quality player but more importantly I want to learn something from this situation, about the team and Kyle's offense, instead of making up hypotheticals about both injured QBs

Lmao! Greatest video ever! I wish I could've seen the Seahawks fans reactions! It feels so great to throw it all back on their faces after all these years of torment. Payback b***hes!!! 🤣🤣

Lance has "been able to." It simply has not ocurred yet in his career.

I'm sure Brock could've won a few of our 1st 8 games if he had played or started,...but I'm not going to come on here and say he wasn't "able to" simply because it didin't happen.

Good attempt @ mixing a little bit of the truth in with your own false storyline, however.

I'm the type of 49ers fan that doesn't ever go to the games because it's better to see the game from my TV. I rarely ever miss the game ever. I decided to take the trip up to Seattle and watch a game. It was incredible to watch. I had good seats at the 50, 12 rows up from the 49ers bench. What a view. The place was packed with 49ers gear. I was impressed with the stadium. I took the train to the game and made a 20 minute walk back to our hotel in downtown Seattle. The fans on both sides were well behaved and I did not notice one argument or any fights. The Seahawks fans that I spoke with were nice and pleasant. After the game, 49ers fans were hanging 49er flags and making noise, hugging strangers and celebrating everywhere. Great experience.

We should, but people still feel the need to pick sides and defend their position. At a time in the league when injuries are so prevalent due to players becoming so big, fast and strong, having quality depth at every position is the most important part of building a team.
