Eagles finally showing cracks with an injury on the Oline and shaky back up QB - may make things more interesting down the line.

Although the 1st seed is still very unlikely, the opportunity is still there.

We wouldn't have to face Dallas in the 2nd round unless a 6 or 7 seed upsets in the 1st. If the 2 seed, we would still most likely play the Vikings in the 2nd round, only it would be home instead of away.
You're absolutely right. I botched that.
Packers at home
Minnesota at home
Or
Washington or giants at home
At Minnesota
Give me the 2 seed

I foresee (biased) the following NFC picture…
Round #1
#1 Eagles
#2 Niners host #7 Redskins
#3 Vikings host #6 Giants
#4 Panthers host #5 Cowpokes
Round #2
Eagles host Cowpokes
Niners host Vikings
Round #3
Niners host Cowpokes
Super Bowl ….
Niners over the Chiefs.

This is a most ideal path

New York sports talk radio, giants fans constantly calling in hoping to get a matchup with the Vikings instead of the niners. Can't say I blame them

Easy to see the Vikings were very lucky this year by winning all those close games. If the ball bounced a little differently in some of those games, they may be closer to 500.

I want the 49ers to face the fearsome BYE Football Team in the 1st Round of the NFL playoffs.

Minnesota on the road
or
(2)
Packers at home
Minnesota at home
I think the 3 seed is an easier path, and IF Philly stumbles in the playoffs (losing to TB or Dallas in the Divisional), we play the NFCC game at Levi's….

With the way this defense and Purdy are playing I don't care who it is. I just want us to play ball and lay down a whoopin!

The Packers are playing like a wounded animal. Lafleur has decided that the season is a wash therefore just let it all hang out and see where the cards will fall. If you missed the Miami game yesterday he was just going for it on 4th down at ridiculous field positions.
if the packers make the playoffs as the 7 seed, they're not going to play like the packers we've seen in previous years. Those were teams that thought they could match up and beat us play for play. This version of the Packers team will play like it doesn't matter win or lose, and I can see Lafleur just putting the ball in A-Ron's hands and letting him play backyard football.
no thanks. I'd rather take the easy W vs the g-spots in the first round then go to Minny and destroy them there…

Lol Packers aren't beating any team in the playoffs and would get blown out by the Niners
