Watch the Vikings luck themselves into the #1 seed LOL

Well, they would need to win two and have PHL lose two. If they tie, the Eagles get it as having beat them earlier this year. So possible, yes; probably, eh not sure

I think us getting that #2 seed is more likely. Hopefully GB beats MIN next week.

we can also get the 2 seed if the above scenario played out. Eagles would drop to 3 seed.

Possibility they lose the division to Dallas....
Shanny said the first Kittle TD was called to go to Ray Ray, Kittle was supposed to go more to the corner then the post.

And the Eaglets LOSE…

Need eagles to lose out and Vikings to lose 1 then Niners get a bye.

Eagles play the Saints and Giants next. I could see them losing to the Giants with Minshew, but not against the Saints. They're bad.

Crazier things have happened.

Not sure about the game times but if some of those games are 10am games and decided by our kickoff, we have to consider resting starters. Walsh did it every year knowing that preserving players in week 17 was a key to the playoffs.

Haha......yes, Phil Simms still never forgave him for that in '88.

Good win. If not for mistakes and missed opportunities who knows how many points we put up.

It's hard to overcome 69, the drive killer.

His play isn't bad but he's good for one or two motion penalties per game. Either that or a holding penalty.

At critical spots when we could be scoring TDs. His timing is impeccable.

Yeah, a great win, but MM is consistently taking these stupid penalties

Name them. Other than the two today, of course. Name these penalties that MM is "consistently committing."
69 has killed more drives this year than anyone on the offense dude maybe consistent stupid penalties os hyperbole but him giving up sacks, holds, false starts more than any other lineman on this team isn't

Again, name them! You can't do that, can you?

Before today's game, MM had six penalties called against him. For the entire 2022 season.

Trent Williams had five during the same period.

You want to look at sacks allowed next? You really want to go there?

MM is one of the best, if not the absolute best, right tackles in all of football. Period.

Could Dallas get the 1 seed ? Or would winning the division drop them to 3, making us two seed and Minn one seed ?

IF Dallas won out in that scenario - yes, they'd win the division with a better record in division games.

I will say, you always see lance on the side line helping, cheering, or involved in some way. good for him

By all accounts the kid has a great drive and great attitude.

Two young 22 year old QBs that have solid potential that have strong study habits and are good locker room guys?

What a great situation go have.

Agreed. People keep wanting to turn this into a negative or want to trade a guy. We have two young QBs on rookie deals for 3 more years. We're not getting rid of anyone.

Best case scenario I'm hoping for- both guys play like franchise QBs and we trade one for a 1st or more in 2025.

lol Bill Walsh retired from the Niners before the BYE week concept was introduced.

It's about resting during the final week of the season. Nothing to do with the bye week.

just pointing out that there was no WEEK 17 in Walsh's coaching tenure.

I think if DAL and SF end up at 13-4, which is really what DAL needs to be to win the East, then our conference record is better so we should be seeded higher.

Depends on what Minnesota does in its last two games. They've lost to Dallas and Philadelphia, and SF has a better conference record than Minnesota or Dallas.

Cool ! I get you.
my point is rest studs in meaningless games if we're that fortunate. Much better than last year having to beat the Rams during the final week.

Ray Ray has been a really nice addition, especially at $2 million/yr. He had his guy beat and would have caught that if not defended by Kittle.
