SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs WASHINGTON COMMANDERS - 2022 Game 15

One of my favorite plays was one of the sacks he took. This guy even gets sacked smart.

The play he evaded the end ran to his left and did a spin at the sideline just to throw it away will not get talked about enough but speaks volumes

Either that or they were just flat and auto pilot today.

Better teams havents scored 20 on them in some time.

Its football, any given Sunday and all that. Washington was motivated to try to lock up a playoff spot and came out playing hard. 49ers still won by double digits in spite of all of that. That's what good teams do.

Might get another Motivated, but a lot less talented, team next week if the Raiders pull out a win tonight.

Yeah - no way I would have thought 37 points scored for SF.....was thinking more like a 24-13 game.
They adjusted well on third down after the first half, and I like how they came out in the 3rd Q and took the game over. Didn't like red-zone FG returning, though.
Very underwhelmed by our secondary and TDP today. But a solid team win regardless
This pizza is bomb..just like the 9ers
Does anyone know about Mason's injury?

Totally agree.

point is it's going to get nasty in the playoffs and I think the D will be full speed or nothing.

Still curious about that play before Washington's final touchdown, where it looked like it should've been an interception by the 49ers because it seemed the ball never touched the ground. Was screaming at the TV hoping that play would be looked at closer before the next snap.

Shanahan challenges a 4 yard reception and then sits on his hands on an interception.

The play before that reception should have been challenged IMO. I think Bosa had the sack before the ball left Heinicke's hand.
Coach looked pissed on some run plays that gained one yard.

Good win. If not for mistakes and missed opportunities who knows how many points we put up.

It's hard to overcome 69, the drive killer.

His play isn't bad but he's good for one or two motion penalties per game. Either that or a holding penalty.

At critical spots when we could be scoring TDs. His timing is impeccable.

Yeah, a great win, but MM is consistently taking these stupid penalties

Name them. Other than the two today, of course. Name these penalties that MM is "consistently committing."
69 has killed more drives this year than anyone on the offense dude maybe consistent stupid penalties os hyperbole but him giving up sacks, holds, false starts more than any other lineman on this team isn't

Again, name them! You can't do that, can you?

Before today's game, MM had six penalties called against him. For the entire 2022 season.

Trent Williams had five during the same period.

You want to look at sacks allowed next? You really want to go there?

MM is one of the best, if not the absolute best, right tackles in all of football. Period.

MM has 8 penalties......highest on the o-Line. Decent on run plays, crap on passing plays as he gets beat often, and statistically has the highest # of penalties this year.
Not sure what you are smoking, but MM is clearly NOT one of the best tackles in all of football.....PERIOD!

Definitely not on the offensive side.
