Washington is a second gear team. If their defense makes the 49ers offense play stuck in second it will be one of those 17-13 games. That being said a turnover could be reason for winning or losing. Let's not let it get to that point, blow them away early.

Yeah, WAS is a grind it out team on offense. The longer the game is in the balance, the more they'll grind it out on the ground hoping it pays off in the late second half.
I think 49er defense should overplay the run thinking Heineke isn't going to slice them up through the air, then get into favorable 3rd and long thinking Heineke isn't going to slice them up through the air.
Basically, make Heineke beat them, which I don't think he can.

I agree with you guys. Washington is the type of team that has to keep it close and play mistake free football. Reminds me of an off brand harbaugh team. Lol

the key will be getting a turn over and not letting them convert third and shorts. I know that's key to like every game. Haha. But the style Washington plays, they'd have a really hard time scoring at all if we do that.
