If Washington pulls this off, then you could see both Washington and the New York Giants get the other wild cards.
Washington finishes at home with Cleveland and Dallas
New York hosts Indianapolis and finishes at Philadelphia.

Might be time to see what Josh Johnson has. He was a decent QB when he was back at SD state.

LOL the defense allows 7 points in a half and and it took until the final seconds - and they're bad.
every other fan base is watching this wishing it was their defense.
Injuries in the secondary but it's the realization that Kyle is stuck with a rookie qb. Washington's dline is highlighting that perfectly.
I honestly can't see anything Purdy has done today that Jimmy would have improved on. Actually avoided a sack that Jimmy would have likely taken, too.
Issue has been the OL pass blocking and the INT that was 95% on Jennings batting up a imperfect but catchable pass.
But this is all GOOD NEWS. The last thing we wanted was for Purdy's first close game in the second half be in the playoffs. He needs to experience some things going wrong to see if he can help be an answer in those games and not just good when everything is working as intended like it mostly has the last three games.
Get battle tested, kid!

At least we don't need this game to make the playoffs. Of course I want to win this game, but as long as Purdy develops it's at least something. We may face these guys again in January.

So is it his height or him staring down receivers? When it was another QB having passes batted down it automatically was because he was staring down receivers.
Our OLinemen need to be more engaged with the pass rushers so they can't get their hands up.

It's getting harder and harder to read the WZ game threads and convince myself there's adults posting.

This is playoff football. Washington is a good team playing for their playoff spot. The 49ers need to match that intensity.

Purdy Int was not his fault. We're definitely on vanilla autopilot to make sure no injuries happens.
