Everything will ride on the severity. These can be two week or eight week injuries.

Eagles could still fall to the 5th seed, right? That would be hilarious

If they lose and Cowboys win yes they can.

Purdy showed his veteran skills tonight 😏. We should all be excited about what we saw from a tight game like this

Yeah, those horrid throws to Kittle were a true sign of a savvy vet. Oh wait…..

Which one?

The one where Kittle run the wrong route?
The two throws he dropped (one for a TD)?
The contested catch he couldn't make like the top-3 TE he's supposed to be?

To me it was Kittle who had an awful game.

Now we're attacking the veteran stars of the team to prop up a rookie?

People here have been throwing players under the bus to prop up Jimmy for years, so it's no surprise.

The Giants have nothing to play for next week. Unless Philly is worse than anyone can imagine, they're going to win that game.

The 2 seed is a very mixed blessing, I would rather Purdy make his first playoff start vs the Giants rather than the Packers who will likely have won five straight at that point.

That said, Philly is vulnerable in that second round game vs the Bucs/Cowboys-- but that's if Minnesota doesn't crap the bed vs the Giants, no guarantee. I don't see Philly losing to the Giants in the playoffs.

Packers (especially rodgers) are hot right now. The defense we put on the field today would have been torched By rodgers as well. Injuries decimated us at CB opposite ward and it's probably way too late in the season to switch Jimmie ward to outside corner and have Womack play slot.

Or trying to analyze the game absent the status of the players.

Greenlaw is a back, will get MRI tomorrow

He was questionable at first. Really need Dre for the playoffs. Big drop off when he's out.

I actually don't think Al Shaiir is a huge drop off, it's the special teams player taking his spot on the weak side that drops off. Shaiir has always played strong in Greenlaws strong side spot

Azeez is solid, no doubt. Taking nothing away from him. Dre just makes big plays in big games. So it's not that it's a huge drop off, but we do lose some big play potential.

Yikes - might be back if SF advances to NFCCG.....that's usually 2-4 weeks if it's a mild sprain?

If you came away from that game with the impression that Kittle was the problem or that the interception was his fault, then you're not analyzing the game, you're just making excuses.

Yes, I believe so. The fact that he had his pads on and was on the sideline gives me hope.

The entire offense faced a lot of adversity today but still put up 37 points and came away with a W. No reason to crap on anyone, rookie or veteran stars.

I'm hopeful too. On the other hand, during the game you're amped up and the adrenaline is flowing and everything feels loose. Then you go home and sleep on it and damned thing won't bend the next morning. Knees are funny things.

Our D is a f**king dream team. They finally and I mean finally are off a game and they get this crap? We've knocked the snot out of AR and PAC.

The best thing ever was todays game for long term. Rest will be limited to maybe 4 qtr and a smack in face. Good.

By the way. We still are number 1 D. How about some respect over whining.

We can win low scoring, blowouts, and shootouts. That's they key to winning in the playoffs.

Absolutely not saying that, those words are entirely your own and not in the least mine. Just making an astute point that a players' tenure means jack s**t on occasion.
