SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at LAS VEGAS RAIDERS - 2022 Game 16

Drunk bandwagon jumpers.

I had a feeling that would happen. It's like a lot of the defensive players didn't get any sleep.

Why do we feel the need to beat a player down to prop another up? There was a lot of sloppy play by quite a few offensive players and we still put up 37 points. Defense didn't play that well but still managed to come away with 2 turnovers. One of which put the game away.

You could tell it was just going to be one of those games. It was inevitable Gould missed the FG.

True dat - just pleasantly surprised they pulled it out. Brock Purdy wasn't great, but he was definitely good enough and got a taste of what it's like to play in a one score game and/or down in the 2nd half.....he still impressed me. Missed a couple of wide open secondary options, but he'll learn from that.

Gould's only missed four kicks all year, but missing a potential game winner is brutal on everyone, especially right after getting some good fortune.
from Lombardi: "Nick Bosa acknowledged that the 49ers underestimated Jarrett Stidham... notably candid presser from Bosa, who noted how quickly the NFL can humble a unit (SF's defense today). But Bosa did help seal the game with his pressure on the Gipson INT"

pretty clear they all did including Ryans. Nice of Nick to be honest.

No way. I saw nothing but a sea of red with black jerseys sprinkled here and there. It was even brought up during the broadcast of fans chanting Purdy's name as the offense was breaking the huddle.
Every team in the NFL has ugly wins. If anything the 49ers should be confident that they could win without their defense totally clamping the opponent.
From reddit

Better to get this stinker of a defensive performance out of the way before the playoffs.

Real Niner fans need to tell them to STFU!

same thing with Colt mcCoy last year.. first game for McCoy and he tears us apart.. then McCoys second game he s**ts the bed

This year McCoy in his first start tears up the Rams.. then in MCoys second game he s**ts the bed vs 49ers

its these first time starters that don't have much tape.. i doubt stidham plays remotely close to what he did today next week

Definitely didn't seem like 60% 49er fans.
I don't think he had a perfect game but he had a damn good game.

Yes he did. OF COURSE he makes mistakes, but every QB does. What I don't feel is that we will all fall apart and the QB will get completely flustered and screw up like before.

Remember when we struggled to get even 20 points?

Stidham has been in the same offense for four years, there was zero tape on him and he had the luxury of being able to throw it anywhere in the vicinity of Adams and have him come down with it.

It's not that shocking that he'd play really well.

This was his chance to play for the job, either with the Raiders, or someone else might notice him. He took advantage of it.
Niners don't win with Jimmy G back there today. There I said it. And I'll say it again too.
