Good theory that's an alternative to the hangover one.

Yup, our defense was completely caught off guard and got slapped around for it. I hope they're pissed off about this. Not how you want to enter the post season… hopefully we get back on track next week.

then after the bye, we will be good 😏

Only the #1 seed gets a bye.

Like I said earlier you could see the stitched part or stripe of the football move while on the ground. They just showed it again on NFLN. f**k those refs hope they enjoy that envelope of cash they got for that game.

You sure about that, Jimmy G is no stranger to come back wins….go ahead and count them I'll wait.

Blind hate makes you say some of the dumbest things.

Very sure. Jimmy G gets sacked 5 times today.

How do you know for "very sure", Jimmy goes for the quick pass most of the time. Anyway arguing this is pointless.

100% sure Jimmy would have lost us the game today. His happy feet and inability to avoid sacks would have cost us the game. I applaud the raiders for shelving carr. We should have moved on from jimmy long ago.

You may be right in the first two sentences. The last one, however...well, it's a good thing we didn't.
Not sure how Hufanga became a pro bowler this early, he's making some obvious mistakes, and the worst part - repeating them! The not-learning part is not good.

The DB is a BIG weakness for this team, and the league knows it, and it will be exploited in the playoffs. If the lowly Raiders can score 34 points, guess what Eagles, Brady, Dallas, any of the top AFC teams would do. The whole SB run rests on the fact that this defense doesn't give up more than 17-20 points.

Home field advantage helps a bit, and no team is perfect in all aspects, so let's see. Playoffs will be interesting.

If we do make the super bowl, the only team I don't want to play is KC. Our secondary is a serious liability because of injuries and Mahommes will shred us like he has Everytime he's ever played us. Lol

anyone but the chiefs, I'll feel good about.

Going to get shredded by Mahomes and Allen. Oh well, at least the safety draft class is deep next year. They can hopefully get someone decent with that compensatory pick

The main thing I'm worried about with the Chiefs is the ridiculously one sided reffing. Denver got f**ked hard over it last night while Chris Jones bodyslammed Wilson with nowhere a flag to be found.

I am so thankful for this win. Another four years I get to talk smack to my Raider buddies. (Unless they play each other again in that extra out of conference game)

Everytime we've played them - has it been the same officiating crew?

im not really one to whine about refs typically but it is true that they miss numerous blatant penalties for us in those games. Ones that always give KC a chance to score or win too.

i agree with this. Mahomes is the face of the NFL and he and the chiefs benefit from the calls. If it was Mahomes that was bodyslammed every flag would fly including the Refs hats.

Lol Brady already played him and put up 7 points

They also missed a holding penalty by the Raiders on that 76 yard TD pass play. They flagged the Niners for defensive holding but missed an obvious hold in the backfield by the Raiders that they showed on replay. That play should have been called back with offsetting penalties.

My comment on replays is we have more than ever. The games are constantly stopped to review everything from catches, to TDs, to targeting. All they do is make the games longer. They still don't always get the cals right. If it takes 2,3,5 minutes to review a play then it can't be overturned. Period. That was part of the original intent when they started doing this. If you need to look at a play from 6 different angles and run it in super slow motion then it should just stand as called. If thye show a replay on the big screen and it's an obvious blown call then overturn it. Football wasn't meant to be played with a micrometer.

Replay shouldn't be used to try and make an imperfect game perfect.
