Mark Sanchez is the most annoying color commentator in the NFL. The amount of times he says, "ohhhhhhhhh" during the middle of a play or talks during the play has got to be annoying to the play by play guy.

he got my hopes up when purdy threw the pick to kittle, i thought kittle was WIDE open for a score because of his stupid ass

Same with me. He needs to STFU during the play. Isn't that like an unwritten rule for color commentators? No talking during the play by play? He's absolute trash.

I miss the good old days of Pat Summerall and John Madden. Just PERFECT.

Madden was great. Summerall, on the other hand, sounded like a depressed baffoon. No charisma in his voice. No charm. Just bland commentary. Don't believe me ? Check out his commentary during the game while we take a 21-0 lead in this one…

💯!!! I miss Berman and the old school style. Now there's too many personalities trying'a little too hard.
I do like Tony Romo and Greg Olsen.

Win or lose this game was awful.

Not a good look going into the playoffs

2019 49ers vs Saints says hi.

That game was followed by a home loss to falcons iirc

The Saints were also 13-3 that year, so it's not quite the same as the 6-10 Raiders starting their backup QB.

This Raiders team is loaded with talent.
49ers vs Saints was a battle against top 2 NFC teams. The Raiders are…well the Raiders, with some random guy at QB to boot.

He's lightyears better than Tony Romo.

You're nuts

Not nuts at all. I just like to enjoy my sanity.

Too many Madden wannabes out there and there'll simply never be another one.

Never thought Sanchez would be so good @ commentary.

LOL, you're definitely in the minority here.

Sanchez is absolute garbage and this was the worst I've seen all year from him. He's not funny at all and ruins the play by play with his "ooohhhh" everytime there's a big play. The play by play guy has got to be annoyed with him.

Tony Romo is not a Madden wannabe. He understands the game better than 99% of commentators and offers great insight during the game.

Dont need him to be funny or run his mouth nonstop. I enjoy his knowledge and I enjoy the game. Romo is running is mouth like teenage girl on the phone is beyond horrible.

I enjoy it when the ex players break down the plays and explain them. I also enjoy it when they mention what they'd do here and who the qb is probably going to Throw to etc. i enjoy that and romo is pretty good at it.

Commentstied annoy me when they speak to stats poorly, don't know anything about the teams or their players beyond highlights, and/or clearly favors one team during the game.

A team's record is not the sole measure of a team's talent level. In 2010 the 49ers had a lot of talent, but also very bad coaching and as a result ended up with a bad record. The 2022 Raiders do have talent and were expected to compete for a playoff spot. They have to have that talent just to compete within their own division, but the coaching has been questionable. This game was their Super Bowl and a lot of their talent shone out. A year ago, with even less talent, they were a playoff team.

Fair enough, but I'd still say Josh McDaniels is miles better than Mike "Motivational Tomsula with a wooden cross " Singletary was.

also the Raiders benched their pro bowl QB for some nobody with a girlfriend and for all for all tense and purposes phoned in their season, on paper Niners should've had this game wrapped up by the 4th Q. But I guess the defense was too hungover from partying on New Year's Eve
