I'd rather take the easy road vs the Giants, and IF the Packers are that good I'll happily welcome them to Levi's for the NFCC game…

Nobody is saying the Packers can't beat us but you're polluting multiple threads with an unfounded and unnatural fear of them that doesn't line up with reality in 2023.

Any playoff team can beat us on the day. No point worrying so much about an opponent that hasn't even, and may not, qualify for the playoffs

Go root for Mahomes already and cuKC for KC

Again, our rookie QB just won a shootout with some random guy playing his first game. I find it stranger that people want to compare that guy to Rodgers or Brees. If our D doesn't show up, you like Brock Purdy's chances at out dueling Aaron Rodgers? That's a bit crazier.

Obviously no comparison between Stidham and Rodgers, but the difference in offseason talent between the Raiders and Packers is pretty massive.

I think the Packers defense matching up against our offense is the greater concern... but I still give our side the advantage. Better players, better coaching.

I think we beat either team, but one thing we saw rear its head again yesterday was our struggles with QB mobility. Daniel Jones presents a real threat in that category.

The Giants are a one play team. Hand off to Barkley vs throw a short pass to Barkley. Daniel Jones doesn't stand a chance against this defense. Rodgers, OTOH, could easily pull a Stidham and rape Lenoir and Huff into submission…

So we have both a KC fan and a Steelers fan trolling. Lovely.

This is ignoring that Rodgers hasn't been raping anyone this season. His supporting cast is way inferior to what the Raiders have.

Rodgers is still a good QB but the team around him is subpar. Unless you think the Packers defense is some secret juggernaut that would be able to shutdown the 49ers offense, Rodgers just no longer has the horses to keep up.

I hope you come back here to eat crow after the Niners whoop the Packers in the playoffs. That's if they even get in

Methinks it's better we lose and get the 3 seed if Philly is beating NY. Stray away from GB in the first round

Imagine being scared of a mediocre Packers team lol

It's really not hard, considering some dude I've never heard of beat our defense down so hard they aren't even #1 anymore. You don't think Rodgers could do that to us?

Were fans this scared when they had a shootout with the Saints in 2019 late in the season? Fans are so fickle.

Again, our rookie QB just won a shootout with some random guy playing his first game. I find it stranger that people want to compare that guy to Rodgers or Brees. If our D doesn't show up, you like Brock Purdy's chances at out dueling Aaron Rodgers? That's a bit crazier.

We are going to constantly face QBs in the playoffs that have shown to deliver the ball even better than Purdy. I would rather find out sooner than later that we can stop a high powered offense in the playoffs. If they can't do it against Rodgers with the lack of weapons he has, no way we can face the real challenges.

Fair enough. Again, not saying I'm scared of them, but I'd definitely rather the Lions or Peacocks. Be nice to know what the bell happened to the D last night, as that's the unit we gotta hang out hats on if we're going anywhere.

Well he's not on the Cleveland Browns.

In all seriousness, people fear Rodgers for the same reason they fear Brady this season. Everything on paper says they wouldn't be a terrible matchup, but you never know when he's going to pull something out of nothing. With our 4-0 playoff record against him, you just worry that he's going to eventually get the better of us even if only once. It'd also be Purdy's first playoff game. No telling how he'll react to the added pressure. It's easy to say it's just another game, but we've seen QBs on this team just play differently once it's the playoffs before.

Jones has 700 yards rushing this year. Had 90 and two tds yesterday. You're underselling the damage he can do with his legs.

Again, I think we beat them regardless, bur your preference to face Jones isn't without its own risks. One of the reasons Stidham was so effective was his mobility.

Yep its the Playoffs and we are going to face good team regardless. I just hope the 49ers bring their A game against whoever they face and don't sh*t the bed.
