Great, just great.

I've got a leak in my apartment roof, that our landlord can't fix due to the snow we got last week (I'm up in Reno), and there's more storms on the way.

Just effing lovely.
The Bay Area needs rain but when it comes like this after a long dry period. Most of it runs off into the streams and bay. It doesn't get a chance to really soak in.

its been raining on and off all football season, it's flooding in places due to being too wet

So I've heard the terms atmospheric river, and now bomb cyclone, back in my day we just called it rain. U goddamn millennials!

you know the game has gone soft and we need proper pronouns for everything... 70's - 90's is where men were men, football was tough and rain was rain.

I used to live there and saw many years where we experienced flooding. That has a lot to do with inadequate drainage systems. They aren't built to handle heavy rain. All the rain helps but it would take a few years like this to replenish the groundwater that's needed for irrigation. You don't go through 10 years of drought and fix it in one rainy season.

Was just thinking about this.. most of all the creeks in Santa clara flow out to the bay instead just trying to harness it somehow. They need to change that
We can just open our mouths and drink the rain. Problem solved
Is it really raining that bad there? LOL. It's not that bad in San Diego.

The Bomb Cyclone we got is Brock Purdy. He throws bombs that result in touchdowns and win games.

He is the Bomb.

Bomb Cyclones sounds like a name for a USFL football team or a roller derby team.

San Diego people call a sprinkle 'a rain shower'.
