SF 49ERS vs Seahawks Pregame thread - 2022 Wild Card Round

non-story

it's called "coach speak", literally every opposing coach says good things about the niners

The Niners are by far the superior team. The Seahawks stand absolutely no chance in this game and their coaches and players know it. Those of you that are scared are scared for no reason

there are two main factors for me

weather and divisional rival

Yeah you wouldn't see a coach come out and say...

"The 49ers are Frauds. They haven't beat any of the top teams and were blown out by KC. Yeah our team will have no issue beating the 49ers"
Who cares what Pete says? This doesn't affect our team in anyway. It's Seattle and we have years worth of disappointment vs this team. Kick the s**t out of them!
He's just trying to fire up his guys "everyone doubts us" and not give the opponent any bulletin board material.

Nice try Poodle, our boys aren't taking you lightly.

Yup and no Mitchell either last game.

The only hope they have is to attack Lenoir every pass play.

Gotta admit tho', that's a pretty solid game plan.

That would be mine for the Offensive gameplan.

I guess for the defensive gameplan, I would just always sending an extra pass rusher and make sure the guys know to keep their hands up when Brock is throwing the ball.
I was thinking about the last game and we know Kyle has not done any of his crazy plays since then. We burned them so bad on that double screen. I would love to see us do the same play and burn them again, more likely Kyle will have a counter to it. Since it is a counter to a counter to a screen I have no idea what that will be.

I can not wait for the crazy s**t Kyle will do in the play offs with this team. Trent back in at full back with kittle debo cmc and BA all on the field at once or go heavy with Eli to get them to take all the dbs off the field.

Then there always seems to be a play or 2 that Kyle will do some super crazy s**t just so the next team as to talk about it. This is going to be fun.

Walker is a really good player too. Pete will force the run forever and ever so we got to beat the double teams and let Fred and Dre eat. Taking the over on what ever there tackle number is.
Unless it just pours like a flash flood, the weather shouldn't really bother us and actually benefit us cause we are the much better team.

my understanding is that Levi field has great drainage and they also cover the field. So I gong anticipate it being too bad but we will see

Do we stick with the same game plan of C Ward following DK around?

I hope so, Ward was seriously in Medcalfs head.

I think wind would affect the 49er offense more than rain. Not expecting gusts, but there will be a little bit of wind on Saturday (10mph).
