Eddie on SNL was so funny. Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood. The word of the day is RANSOM. SNL has sucked for over 20 yrs though

What worries me the most about the weather is our punter - I'm worried he will give them good field position where they'll either be able to get a lucky deep throw on 38 or kick field goals.

wish has been awesome at getting the ball down inside the 20 or 10 - but his leg has sucked this season when we needed it. Idk if he's injured or what but I haven't seen boot that ball well when we are pinned in our own territory

"Opponents have registered a return on just 26.9 percent of Wishnowsky's punts this season, which ranks first among all punters in the league. This has been, in large part, a direct result of Wishnowsky's ability to pin opponents inside their own twenty-yard line repeatedly, something he has done at a higher rate than all but one punter in the NFL this season.

Fifty-one percent of Wishnowsky's punts have pinned opponents inside their own twenty-yard line, trailing only Green Bay's Pat O'Donnell, who has a slight edge while doing it at a 52 percent clip."

What more do you want from him?

To punt for greater distance when the goal isn't to pin the opponent inside the 20. I feel like I've noticed the same thing, but I don't have any meaningful statistics available to confirm it. Most of the standard punting stats aren't going to differentiate between situations, as far as I'm aware.
Special teams is key. Tricky pete will try some fake FGs/punts and onside kicks. We need to be ready. Also, in the rain our returners need to secure the ball at all costs.
"weather is the great equalizer" i keep hearing

remember when tennessee went into new england on a snowy night and got blown out 59-0?

i do 🙋

He doesn't have a strong leg but he's fairly accurate and does a good job of limiting returns with good hangtime.

I have noticed he can't ever "boom" a punt but I think the situation calls for that far less than pinning inside the 20.

Went back to week 2 to see if Mooney shadowed DK - he did not. So this will be round 2. (I miss Emman)
