About 3.5" over 24 hours.

Saturday is looking like 1" with the heavy stuff coming down during warm-ups and tapering at kick-off. It won't be nearly as bad at the Colts or Bears games.
It's Friiiday:)
Anyone up? 49ers-SheHawks replay right now on NFL Network!

The irony of losing to an inferior team due to inclement weather would be that it was probably the loss to Chicago in week 1 in inclement weather that cost us a first round bye. We should be waiting for the lowest seed to play us next week, but the rain screwed us in week 1. Imagine if the same factor ends our season

look at those early losses as a positive. had the team been 5-1 or 6-0, no way they would have traded for CMC.

Good point!

Rewatching the last SEA 9ers game. I forgot that was the game with the double fake. The look on Pete's face after that play.."oh chit, this is real." lol.
First time commenting on this game so my first thought is, ARE YOU f**kING KIDDING ME WITH THE RAIN FORECAST???
2nd thought is if we can't beat the Seachickens thoroughly then we don't deserve to be here.
3rd thought is I really hate all the love we're getting and hearing how great Brock is. I'm superstitious and unfortunately waiting for the shoe to drop on Purdy.
Final thought is it doesn't matter how we do in the NFC playoffs cuz Mahomes will just shred us anyway. If teams were smart, they'd just throw mid-deep on us all day and it'll work. OR quick throws short (like to Kelce perhaps?) cuz we play the softest version of zone defense in the NFL

Wow, I just realized how negative this post is. Sorry bout that lol. GO NINERS!

For point 2 - Media is planting seeds from what the nfl scriptwriters are conjuring up. It's our time.

For point 3 - See point 2. Recall Dallas Mavs vs. Heat 2006 and then Mavs vs. Heat 2011. What happened in 2011? (I'm a Mavs fan in Dallas btw)

God i want the game to get here already...thankfully it's tomorrow so the wait isn't as bad as it could be.

I mentally cannot comprehend us losing so they're gonna have to keep my mental sanity in check and get it done without shooting themselves in the foot.

I know it's Seattle, I know they have some good players there, it's a divisional game but we are so much better than them this year. Rain or not this should not be an issue unless we're absolutely careless with the football on offense and incredibly sloppy and undisciplined on defense. I just can't imagine we go into a playoff game and perform like that even with the rain.

Let's get this W, let's stay healthy and let's do it again 3 more times this post season after Saturday.
I think we all need to accept the fact that weather isn't going to be great. There's about a 75% chance of rain during the game. That could be light showers or heavy downpour. We'll just have to make do no matter what. Th Niners have played in several rain games and have practiced in rain a lot so they'll be okay. I just hope there isn't a lot of wind. 10-15 mph is okay but if it starts gusting to 25-30 mph then that could be an issue. Ground and pound.

the way things are shaking right now; it's going to be really bad. it's been raining nonstop in the Bay Area minus yesterday and the new storm system just pushed through.

I'm NERVE RACKED about a rain game. It doesn't sit well as the team doesn't play well in it, it takes away a lot of the 49ers playmaking ability (although favors a good run game), and levels the playing field for an inferior opponent.

Why do the niners seem to always find these monsoon games?

Please just get this win and stay healthy

Luckily it looks like during the game it won't be a downpour, but not sure how soaked the field will be before they start the game. I know they will tarp it, but not sure how many hours before they game they have to remove the tarp.

Hard to imagine it can get worse than the garbage we played in during the Chicago game.

I don't know. On the weather app looks like the heavy part start between 2-3 and continues until 6-7. If it's anything like the Colts game or even the Bears game this year we're in a heap of trouble…
