If you are not in the SF Bay area stop freaking out

The monsoon fire hose rain is over

The rain we will see the rest of the day is just a light drizzle

It's not raining that bad by you?

It's cloudy but it's cleared a bit, no rain the last 20, wind has also slowed drastically. I'm1.9 miles from Levi's.

it was pouring and woke my kids up...we had hot chocolate and watched it out the window

back to drizzle now and forecast says it wont be crazy again today

Nope. Kyle´s dream gameplan is running the football all day long!!!

Kyle even brought up Coleman.

It just meant TDP will in inactive. Not a surprise. TDP has not look good so far, and he doesn't play ST.

As long as the grass doesn't come out in big chunks, we should be fine.

The field drainage is excellent at Levi's. I don't think we'll have any puddles on the playing surface.

I think the game plan is to get the lead running the more dynamic running backs, and then close it out with the more sure handed Coleman.

I don't know if a wet field really gives one team an advantage over the other. Same as cold weather. Players on NFL teams come from all over the country and during their career they play in every weather condition.

What concerns me about bad weather games are turnovers. The ball can slip out of the QBs hand and get intercepted. Ball carriers can fumble easier. They can slip while trying to make a cut. Pass rushers can have a harder time doing thier moves to get to the QB. Kicks can get missed easier.

None of these things favor one team over the other but I hate to see games decided by stuff like that. All of the things I mentioned can happen on a dry field in good weather but they are more likely to happen in poor weather. Let's hope the Niners don't lose the game because of a couple of turnovers caused by the elements.

That's why you don't want games like this. They become very unpredictable. If you are the better team you would want a nice clean game. Not a weather monsoon.

Weather is pretty good ATM.

Check back in about four hours lol.

Yeah depending on the app your checking. Weather.com says it small chance of rain in the 1st qt but beyond the rain chance increases alot.

That's what I see, fairly ok til about 2nd qtr. Then like 90-100% for a couple hours.

That sounds better. Good to know.
ESPN has an article up about the s**t officiating that gave Sea the win last week. Don't see that happening again today because everybody will be watching.

Let's put this rain vs no rain debate to rest. As above clearly minimal to no rain leading up to gametime. Then approximately 50% chance throughout the game but mostly less than <.05 inch which means it's a drizzle at best. If the field remains tarped and has good drainage as we're told, this should not affect us today.

GAME !

….btw this is the weather forecast at Levi's Stadium on the weather channel.

That's not that much. That's also in 24 hours. Not 3 hours and 20 minutes for a game. So not too bad. A little lite rain maybe during some portions of the game. Maybe we get lucky and it stays mostly dry for the game. It can rain after if it wants to.

Thats a relief, the way everyone has been talking I was expecting it to look like the end of the Bears game
Well that's not the case in San Jose. Pouring. But it is supposed to lighten around game time.

I don't think so. We need to score heavy by 2PM when it picks up.

Yes but weather apps, although some differ from others, show rain will start back up again in the 1st qt.
