SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs SEATTLE SEAHAWKS - 2022 Season Wild Card Round

My weather app says it will barely be raining during game time. Hate how every app says something different

Forecast has this being a downpour through gametime and it's basically rained here nonstop since Dec 26. This f**king sucks. They might cancel or postpone.

It's football not golf
Gameday mothaf**kas!

I would not be surprised if offense opens up and throws 20+ yard plays down the field. Everyone is expecting run heavy, weather and rookie QB and history of run heavy in previous playoff games. I'd look for seam routes with the TEs and/wheel route with FB. Perhaps CMC will be a decoy. Also, could we see TW, catch a pass? For the Seahawks, I'm concerned about Lockett. Pass rush is key and we need to bring it.

That is something I haven't seen all season. I have become accustomed to seeing at least 2-3 of those per season. Have we been saving it?

I loved that team.

William Floyd is a G.

Steve Young was just so sharp.
I hope we see more Janoris today, he should be in better shape and Lenoir on Lockett scares me.
Harris is playing for them, need to be creative today with the run game.
To be honest, I had to fly back into SF for all week last week and the weather really isn't that bad. It's just the area isn't used to it or designed for it. So everything is all messed up.

it could of just been the area I was in (Lafayette and SF), but outside of the damage because Cali isn't used to rain at all, it's not bad. It gets wayyyyy worse everywhere else in the country. I don't anticipate it effecting the game much unless it pours.

i walked and took public transportation everywhere. I'd walk 45 minutes from Bart to where I was staying. It was just a little rain, it never even came down too hard. Cali just hasn't had rain in years - that is really why this is so damn bad. The soil and all that. If Cali had any sort of consistent rain over the last 5 years, this damage wouldn't be this way.

with that said, I feel awful for all the families that have been impacted by this and the lives that have been lost. Be safe out there.

The Weather Underground site has been on-point for me for the most part. They're forecasting the heavy stuff tapering off within the hour, with little or no rain between 10am - 2pm, then showers later. Possible thunder & lightning near the end of the game. This is your Polkadot Pete (us old farts know) morning report.
God I hate the anxiety i've been having for this game. I've been waking up randomly in the middle of the night and start thinking about the game and wouldn't be able to go back to sleep.
Gameday britches!!!
